Also, Yurai is doing that much damage 2.6 million damage in 15 seconds to a boss that is roughly 25 levels lower than he is. Let me take my level 41 Assassin and go beat up Vegaboond for 15 seconds. Will that show off the abilities of my class? T could even one hit kill it! That must mean I am awesome right? A player that has never seen this stuff before won't know that Yurai's build is a PvP build or even what skills are being used.

You see a log, a giant lava dragon, and one person dealing over 2.6 million damage to a single target in under 10 seconds. You see a PvP devoted build that flows fluidly from move to move and doesn't have a single lapse between attacks, using moves ranging from 2nd job to 4th job.

The POV is unfortuate, but Lavalon fixes the camera that way. The editing is clean, the interface is stripped, and (to me, anyways) the action speaks for itself. IMO that qualifies it as a very good example of the capabilities of the Ninja class, and should be seriously considered for inclusion in a Trailer showcasing the classes of Dragon Saga.

The main point of my post was to express outrage at the behavior of one of the winners. No need to drag my name through the mud. o_0;

I'm sure your ultimate would 1hko it since you're 20 levels above it, no? I don't particularly disagree with the part of people not knowing that the damage is high, but I do believe my video showcases skills ranging from 2nd job to 4th job instead of taking the easy way out and hitting the ultimate key. Anyway, I don't want to argue about what my video shows; the purpose was just to point out bad sportsmanship. I don't see anything wrong with me not winning it, but bragging about it in such a manner was uncalled for.

Who said I was complaining about not being in the first video? The ignorance in this community is just appalling.

There are worse, try some game communities where you have to SOCIALIZE oh dear god its tragic

TBH i expected yurai to win. cause dealing out that much dmg that fast compared to the other vids almost convinced to make a ninja.

Woah guys seriously this was just mean to be a fun little contest, its not an E-peen contest. Everyone is entitled to an opinion just because Tarmaendeos thinks its great doesn't mean everyone feels the same way. Lets not turn this awesome event into who made the best video. Plus this will not be that last contest of this type, you'll have more chances if your video wasn't picked for this. So stay tuned and try again in the next contest.

Bad sportmanship is a terrible thing, and uncalled for. I'm very saddened by this misuse of winnings.

For a person who has "NEVER" played this game, ALL OF OUR VIDEOS LOOK WEIRD & CRAZY!
How would they know whether something was fought on an equal level or not?
How would they know what "high damage" means?
How would they know that Lavalon is a special dungeon boss?

THEY WONT KNOW A THING IF THEY'VE "NEVER" played.

*edit: Also, there weren't any restrictions to what could/couldn't be recorded, so virtually anything was possible as an entry. So what if someone had a video of killing somethin easy? You should look at other games on YouTube. Tons of players upload their "montage" of pwn by killing easy things with higher leveled skills.*

Yurai simply posted a screenshot of a winner making fun of Yurai of not being a winner.
Afterwards, the unnecessary flame war started. *edited out like a deleted scene, yo!*

All in all, this was a fun event, made me wish I had a better PC for recording.

For future contests, (and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who feels this way) guidelines should be more clear cut and detailed and also the guidelines that were laid down should be enforced. The impression I was given was that this was going to be part of a high production trailer to be released featuring in game clips from players that actually required some creativity and effort. Although most of the videos did have these qualities, quite frankly I find it hard to believe some of the other videos were chosen. Now I don't want to point out specifics to avoid offending anyone, but one thing I do have to point out is the FRAPS watermark in the first video when the rules clearly stated no watermarks. Let's call this a test run and make the next competition better.


And for clarification because I know someones gonna say that I be ragin':
This is jusy my suggestions. It is NOT a RANT, I would have posted it win or lose and overall I had fun making my submission
