Left a pvp match then the game suddenly crashed. I tried to reopen metal assault but it kept crashing. Reinstalled, ran as admin, tried to repair with installer but none of these worked.

This sounds like a local issue, so let's start the debugging process!

 

So you reinstalled, off the original install or did you download it again all over?

 

When you reinstalled, did you uninstall first or just tell it to reinstall?

It might be a good idea to uninstall, make sure the folder is clear of any files that aren't screenshots, in case it's a configuration issue that became corrupted.

 

Let me know where you're currently crashing at, so we can try to help debug the issue further if none of the suggestions help.

I had the same problem. Although when I uninstalled & reinstalled it was fixed

Reinstalled off the original installer. I uninstalled first. But the game randomly started to work again after many attempts (no idea how) but now I am getting another error saying I do not have enough connection to play the game

 

 

edit: Now its crashing again. The game crashes whenever I reach the login screen. Seems like a lot of other players are experiencing this problem too

That is an ongoing problem that needs to be fixed. You should just restart and close out other apps for now to keep it from crashing.

Ok Leonis I found the problem. Game crashes whenever I have other applications open like firefox. Seems like something is interfering with the game. After closing all other applications game works.

That's a good find. And unfortunate too.

 

So when you close Firefox you're able to play or are there other applications you have running as well, that you close?

 

The more information we have the better we can debug and provide reports to the dev team to look in to and patch.

We need to know what your error is to help you. We're aware many players are having problems with connecting, but that doesn't mean everyone has the same problem. So please provide more details where you're not able to connect or what you're experiencing so we can help you individually. :)
