Regarding Artisan.. Especially Battle Artisans

Hi guys,

 

Do you guys remember back in Patch v560 (Server Merge + Clan Update Patch) where there were massive class skill balancing updates in that patch? So with that patch, under the Dealer class, there are 2 subclasses, Artisans and Bourgeois right? and there were new stacking skills added right?

 

So under the Dealer page in Skill tabs, there was the new stacking passives:

Excitable Trigger Finger *NEW* (Gun)
Every 10 attacks, gain 20%/40%/60%/80%/100% Attack Speed for 3 seconds
Counters will not generate while under the effect of Excitable Trigger Finger.

Cannonier *NEW* (Launcher)
Every 5th skill hit gain 10% + 20/40/60/80/100 Movement Speed for 5 seconds.
Counters lasts for 60 seconds & refresh when gained.
Counters do not generate while under the effects of Cannonier.

 

And then under the Bourgeois page in Skill tabs:

Sharpshooter *NEW* (Gun)

Every 10th attack, gain 5%/10%/15%/20%/25% Pierce Defense for 3 seconds
Counters lasts for 60 seconds & refresh when gained.
Counters do not generate while under the effects of Sharpshooter.

Critical Fortune *NEW* (Launcher)
Every 10th critical hit, gain 10%/20%/30%/40%/50% Critical Damage for 10 seconds.
Counters lasts for 60 seconds & refresh when gained.
Counters will not generate while under the effect of Critical Fortune.

Third Eye (Update)
Bringing back that big ol'ugly eye.
Upgrade to a summon.
Summon casts detect every 3 seconds and a 20m/25m/30m/35m/40m range, while following the master until killed.

 

Now.. my question is.. There are players like me who plays Artisans as Battle Artisans.. I would like to ask, why Battle Artisans didnt get any new passive stacks skill updates during that patch back then? We are sort of outclassed by GunBourgs and CannonBourgs without those extra passives? So I would like to add here.. maybe we could suggest the dev team to have a look into Artisans Skill tree and maybe add some skill passives stacks to it.. For both Gun type and Cannon type.. and below here is a suggestion on the skill passive (I don't know what name to use so I'll just leave it blank):

 

Under Artisan Skill Tree Page:

Some New Exciting Skill Name *NEW* (Gun)

 

Every 10th attack, gain 5%/10%/15%/20%/25% Melee Attack Power for 5 seconds
Counters lasts for 60 seconds & refresh when gained.
Counters do not generate while under the effects of Some New Exciting Skill Name.

Some New Exciting Skill Name *NEW* (Launcher)
Every 10th attack, gain 10%/20%/30%/40%/50% Skill Power for 8 seconds.
Counters lasts for 60 seconds & refresh when gained.
Counters will not generate while under the effect of Some New Exciting Skill Name.

 

Ok these things I mentioned above are just my suggestions and they might not be perfect and will have to be tested out probably in Pegasus to see the effects of the stacks but at least devs, add some stacking passives for use Battle Artisans too? Anyone is welcomed to add your 2 cents + opinions to the skills.. So lets discuss!~

 

PS: If there have already been a thread opened about this then please forgive me for not searching the forums for it.. Mods please help to merge if there are similar thread about Battle Artisans not getting the same/similar skill passive update during that patch last year.. Thanks!~

They weren't given any new ability's due to them having a different update planned. It's taken significantly longer than originally planned to get them their update, because it rely's on a few other updates to happen first. 

 

I'm not sure where the official post source is, but it essentially goes like this.

 

  1. Support Skill + Role update [new types/methods of healing and group support] getting added.
  2. Crafting UI + Professions Update
  3. Artisans will be given 'Profession Perks' enabling them special access or advanced access to the new profession system [so as to retain their theme as the best crafters in ROSE]
  4. Artisans will then be given a skill update, that gives them some new support skills, to support their team via machinery + devices, but still be capable of dealing damage. 

So until the support updates are finished, and the professions update is done, the Artisans will not be getting any new tree skills, and unique skills will be very limited. That's all the information I can provide, because details are also very limited. 

 

Now, having said that, I did send in new Unique skills to Leonis and he approved of their design and concept. He said he'd work on getting them added to Pegasus when he had time, but that was a while ago and I haven't seen any new info on that since the last test session was closed in 2015. I may have to poke at the DEV's again to see if they're still planning to add them, or if they decided not to. [There were also some new Unique skills for Bourgeois included]

Care to share what were the new Unique skills you sent to Leonis which he approved?

sounds good fueuer, can't say i don't enjoy a good money shot :D

 

i also like the toxic zulie storm as i suspect this would even work in real life. this needs to be tested too ofcourse. so now i'm looking for a group of  volunteers on whom i can practice "blowing a load" of botulinum toxin laced coins at, maybe there are some takers here? :3

i do think it should cost like 100 zulie for flavour.
