Valk players pay for kafra and other things.
I'm tired of people saying "V@lk d0n't paay f6 are s3rvers 1irst!"
We are just smart enough to play for free than pay to play the same game.

Does anyone know what the hell a DDoS attack means? Because this person here seems pretty ignorant about the implications behind it.Haha well this isn't possible.
They should be able to fix it/stop it faster. Come on, it's their servers. I don't believe they're doing "everything in their power" to fix it atm, no.
And afterall, we are currently paying for nothing. Valkyrie's players, even if it's still very annoying for them too, do not pay. We do. So it's kind of frustrating, personally.

Even the most patient are fine until you anger them. Making assumptions on something you don't know anything about is as rude as talking crap to your mother. And sadly, More than 80% of the QQers currently posting hundreds of threads on the same damn complaint is one reason I'm saying that. Read the sticky Heim has posted about said DC's and latency issues. Look elsewhere for answers to your questions first, before you base your assumptions on what you see first.you're so polite, i wonder how you talk to your mother.
We are doing the appropriate steps to mitigate the DDOS, which is extra annoying because the attack vector is fluctuating, and not persistent. We have taken appropriate prevention and repair procedures to lessen the damage, but due to the way internet traffic must work it is not possible to "turtle up" and still get legit traffic to get through. Our ISP and IDC is working with us but a final solution that doesn't kill normal traffic only comes with time or when the DDOS person stops (or is stopped).

So, we had a regular maint that was extra long and things have gotten worse? I am really having a hard time finding any motivation to play anymore. Here's an idea, make an announcement that you're gonna take all Gravity servers down for a week, pull everything apart and rewire, re-install software, etc. from scratch. Do not bring anything live until the lag is gone. Bring in outside technicians, kRO technicians, jRO technicians (people who are able to properly run much larger servers) and go over everything. Once the first setup is done, have a prechosen group of people log in and test it, if it works, bring in a larger group, if it doesn't start over. Keep doing this until the servers are actually known to be stable instead of all this, "we think we got it fix, oh wait, we don't" that's been happening for months. And keep a website (in a separate location) up that all game urls redirect to that explains to anyone who comes, especially any new players that have come to check it out, what is going on. And keep it updated.
This is what has to be done instead of trying to keep the servers live while you attempt to fix things which only is resulting in more and more people quitting and any new players leaving before even trying. Once the servers are known to be stable, then reopen them and send out press releases to various game sites/magazines, etc.
Because, right now, all you're doing is pissing your playerbase off.

Well, they should really look into that.I feel the same way. but its likely a long line of permissions is required to go through for something like that to happen.
