Weird... but off topic
If I remember it right then Ragnarok 2 take place 300 years after Battle of Ragnarok which is Ragnarok 1 (correct me if I'm wrong) and a lot of things has changed like Eddga now somehow became super muscular and stronger than Kiel or RSX or even Eremes himself.
Eremes somehow became super friendly with human and so easy to manipulated by Julianna Lucille even though he was part of Black Knight Group MVP in Bio Lab and was same tier (Seven Assassin Cross) with Julianna Lucille back when they were human and fought for the Assassins Guide
Baphomet somehow became weaker than Maya and somehow Maya was a child that kidnaped together with players by Freyanity which first appear was 300 years before (Time Travel?)
And I wont suprise if they just give up on story of Niflheim because most of Ragnarok 2 storyline didn't fit or make sense with Ragnarok 1. Or maybe it just because they have no prepare for Niflheim's story to begin with?
Hope they bring back the quest base playstyle in the future to explain what is going on in Ragnarok 2

Wow, I really enjoy the drawings and the environment and atmosphere they transmit. I never seen those pictures before.

Kind of looks too whimsical than spooky compared to the RO version, but I was hoping the realm's story would be interesting at least. For them to copy-paste RO's events of the realm makes me worried, especially since RO2 doesn't have either the Schwarzwald Republic nor Umbala to speak of.

I don't know about RO1 but I can't wait to see that artwork into 3D game, and with hopefully some nice new background music to fit the mood.

Hey, I recognize that building
This concept art reminds me how inconsistent RO2's art direction is. Part of the architecture can be pretty colorful and wonky, but then it goes and takes itself seriously. Then we have those edgy armors, and manderu and freyjans being part of the same game and...
At least RO1's Niflheim was thoroughly wonky (even the butcher and dullahan could hardly be goofier). Let's see how it translates to RO2.

The original Maya in RO1 died, I do believe. Eremes was either frozen (cryosleep), or cloned, and that's what we saw in RO2. The Feyjanity is an organization attempting to revive Randgris.
Strength of the bosses (MVPs) are explainable, albeit in a lazy way (probably how the devs applied logic to it) by simply stating the following; "Difficulty is determined on when they were added to the game, depending on the current level cap."
So yeah, it's a little backwards in comparison to RO1, but honestly, it's also been 300 years, so the ones that haven't died and been revived have been around for 300 years to get stronger. Baphomet is eternal, though... So that one, I dunno how to explain at all. But that does make me want Sealed Shrine (Capitolina Abbey), and Great Demon Baphomet.

I think the Eremes we met in RO2 is the original one because most of his clone died because of Bio Lab accident and according to RO1 database all of his clone are Demon and the original somehow still remain Demi-Human. And in RO2 we see him as human so yea I think he is the true Eremes but he lost all his friends after get out of Bio Lab and manipulated by Julianna Lucille in RO2 because she know where his friends are. But keep working for someone over 300 years even dont get any information is kinda stupid imo mah his INT is only 37, no wonder he is an idiot
Hope we can see Seyren and rest of Black Knights in the future and they help us kill Julianna Lucille so at least Eremes didn't died in vain

Well Eremes was experimented on with Ymir heart which would be a reason for his long life, and possible inclusion of other Bio Lab experiments as not stated what happened to Lighthalzen. Baphomet could be blamed on a rebirth cycle type of thing where it takes time to gather full power again; every time he is killed in the garden it resets the gathering.
