This is a community driven/run event to support PVP and the iRO Classic Server
Hello, my name is Undying.
Xellie and I will be putting on a monthly 5v5 tournament for the iRO Classic Server! For the Classic server it will always be the first Sunday of the month at 7:00 Eastern.
Xellie and I have done these types of events before and are looking forward to bringing you multiple pvp events on a monthly basis!!!
Registration (you can register now)
-The ONLY way to register is via the forums. Copy/paste this format and reply via PM or in the thread, whatever you fill out will be public.
-There is no fee to participate. It is a free shot at winning some cool prizes with guaranteed participation prizes!!!
Team Name: (what you want to be called, must be appropriate)
Team Captain's Character Name: (this can't change)
Guild: (No duplicate guilds, due to mapping)
Will you follow the rules?: (yes or no)
Example would be....
Team Name: Undying is the Bestestest
Character Name: Ultimate Sacrifice
Guild: Elite
Will you follow the rules?: Yes
*****Tournament Rules*****
-Participants need to be ready 15~30 min before the tournament. We will be starting on time, if you are not ready you will be DQ'd.
-Team Leaders must be on a Team Speak server with me. This is to make sure that we can keep the action flowing and be able to communicate.
-No duplicate Classes on the team!
-Must show up promptly when your match is called. If a team fails to show up within 2 min of being called they will automatically lose the round.
-Teams MUST have 5 characters. No exceptions. If you need a party, try the recruitment section or ask your friends!
-Bring your own characters.
-All characters must be in the same guild and party.
-Bring your own gear, any gear is allowed*
-All consumables are allowed.
-Must stay in the designated area for the tournament, any issues with this will result in immediate disqualification.
-No cheating, any issues with this will result in immediate disqualification along with reports to the GMs.
-Must be ok with being recorded/streamed.
-Time limit per matches (TBD). Team with the most players alive at the end wins, if due to being timed out. If there is a tie then the round is redone.
-Rounds in the matches are fought back to back. Teams have up to 60 seconds between rounds, if a team takes 61 seconds to be ready they will automatically lose that round. No exceptions
-Must have a sense of humor.
*There is no way that I can monitor/prove players are following the gear restrictions.

Tournament Format
-Double elimination format
-Brackets will be randomly made by me
-Each round is a best of 3 matches, double KO results in a "redo" of that single match
-Final matches for the winners of the "winning" bracket and the "losing" bracket will be best out of 5.
-Winner is declared

When will the tournament be?
Starting time will be at 7:00pm Eastern on August 7th.
How can I view the tournament?
The tournament will be streamed. Direct links will be provided here on the forums and there will be an in game announcement with the URL. It will be streamed on the WP twitch and also under Xellie's stream.
Where will the tournament be held?
There is a custom map for this event and it might be used for future ones!

-Fixed the tournament format. Double elimination.
-Added requirement for team captain to be on teamspeak with me. This is only here as a way for me to communicate with the participants to ensure that the tournament will be moving along at a reasonable rate. If anybody has a problem with this, get a hold of me
