Event Period: August 8 - September 19, 2016

The heat of summer is wilting to most of us, but the monsters of Rune Midgarts thrive in it! It's time to step up our population control measures. As a thank you for your hard work, King Reinhart has offered a bounty for increasing the number of Ocean-Themed Boss Monsters killed each week. 
 
Details
  
Each defeat of the noted boss monster or monsters will be counted toward the tiers. Everyone who participates in the event will earn the tiers that were unlocked each week! This is a "beat your high score" type of event, and the goal each week is to exceed the number of boss monsters killed the previous week. We will update the score to beat each maintenance, and the prizes earned throughout the week will be distributed during regular maintenance.

New content in 2019?.......

Ok in a serious note; you are taking too long in this, like a player i can go to other games when this happen but Guilds are destroyed for this, is tiring be the one old player and see like people gone and new come to go again in that cycle for at least six time a year for lack in content. Do more, here in ragnarok is full of lovely people loving this franchise. Hope things goes well but how i am going to know?, there is no more Town Hall Meetings......sigh........

Guys on a serious note atleast bring back X2 or X3 rates during friday 17:00 server time. It's getting boring that we only farm every single day no grinding rip grinding, there are new players suffering from leveling up even trying to get only at master level

Just a reminder that even when you don't see something get updated during the maintenance, there's still tons of work going on both on bug fixes and to complete the new content. Also a note to everyone unfamiliar with the thread from the bug reporting forum, you can follow along with which bugs and changes are being developed or tested for the upcoming patches right over here:

Have the droprate of Jawaii mobs and bosses been ninja increased as a consequence of the results of the survey WP had a couple of weeks ago? I did JDQ today and it felt like a lot more cards were dropping.

The content is there they just allow people to jump it even more since exps events and Dapara and friends.... assassin's sanctum? silent corridor?

Yeah not realizing this is exactly what is ruiningthe game experience to everyone....

I wholeheartedly agree. Because I can't play through the vast majority of the weekend, I've always suffered that I can't join grind parties which only form during the weekend - It took me months to get through Dark Whisper due to this alone. I shouldn't have to book time off work as holiday time just to level up!

All of this could be fixed if rewards (mastery points) of daily quest in dark whisper (and forgotten payon and dayr desert) were increased...

Just for example, all daily quest in dark whisper (just daily quest, no main history or HC-SC-AS) only give 3k of mp, so if you are master level 23-24 you will need 50k points to level up, 2 WEEKS TO GAIN 1 LEVEL.... now imagine to level up to 28-29 (70K of mp)

Then, why no increase that 3k mp to 9-10k ?

I think 1-2 weeks to gain 1 level "maybe" can be a "good" idea if you are nearly to ml 40, but not for a mid-tier part of the game....

One of our fine VCRs is writing a new set of questlines that would bring back levelling by questing. So questing to level will be a thing again.. eventually!

FIRST YOU DIN TRY HARD ENOUGH TO FIND PARTY FOR GRIND, I SEE DAILY AT "FIND PARTY CHANNEL" 

LFM CONDOR/MUKA AFK FREE BOOST. SO IF U STUCK AT ML9 IS NOT DEVELOPER/WP PROBLEM BUT ITS YOURS.

SECOND, I DONT SEE PPL MAKE FUN OF REQUEST FOR DUNGEON BUT MOST OF THEM USUALLY IGNORE THOSE REQUEST AND ASK YOU GO GRIND AND GET TO ML1 ASAP. COZ DUNGEON ARE USELESS NOW IF FOR THE SAKE OF THE QUEST YOU CAN ALWAYS COME BACK WHEN YOURE GEARED.

LASTLY WHAT KIND OF UPDATE YOU AS A NEWBIE? STRAIGHT BOOST TILL ML40 OVERNIGHT? BUT YES THE GRIND SYSTEM NOW ON CERTAIN LEVEL ARE MESSED UP WHICH NEED SOME CHANGE.
