In 2005 my boys told me there was a new game that I likely would find fun to play. Me,a Dutch single mom with two little boys decided to give it a try. My English was bad, and with the dictionary close by I tried to communicate in Rose. Now I do not use the dictionary anymore, because I know you can read between lines. My alter ego's were Havenot (mage) and Dohave (Cleric).
My youngest son Tom, 12 years old at that time, became a soldier in Rose: Mentos. Mentos liked to hang out and run around in Rose in the battlefields, he loved to make fun and tell jokes, didn't care about leveling his soldier. He became fanatic in the forum and participated on contests like making new clothes and armour for characters.
This year he graduated in Enschede (the Netherlands) and got a Bachelor of Sciense in game design and development. I thank the makers of RoseOnline for this, because they passed the fire and the passion for making a game look fun, wonderfull, magic and most important interactif with people all over the world.
Thank you.

Hello Dohave,

Thank you so much for posting this update and please pass on my congratulations to your Mentos.  Such wonderful news.

I don't recall how old it is now, but he made my sig and forum pic for me many years ago =) I think i was still living over in England at the time.

So that would make it 6+ years ago! Time really does fly.
