Writer's Commentary: I did say I was going to announce something.
Sometime ago, ROCKheir, my collaborator, disappeared without saying a word. Let me make this clear ahead of time, this commentary is NOT intended to pin the blame on him. I have nothing but respect for him and his arts, so this announcement isn't really something disparaging for him. Anyway, I've focused a lot of my energy on this fanfiction, but his unprecedented disappearance had some ramifications that affected my workflow. Following this, I've discovered some unpleasant issues I won't disclose, but I've repeatedly denied until it was staring at me in the face. It sunk me into a deep creative slump, one that I struggled. and still struggle, to climb out of. ROCKheir's return last April 17 was, while I'm glad for him, something that finally gave me quite a wake-up call.
I've gotten in touch to a select few of my readers, and to them I'll entrust some few things concerning Briar, one of which is the interlude from the last post with extensive scenes. Right now, I need to focus my energy on something other than this. Though the entire arc is finished and only needs proofreading, I truly need to take a break from anything related to this project. Initially, it'd just be two weeks, but I'm focusing my energy on other things, so it might take longer than that, say, a month. If worse comes to worst, I will definitely have the whole arc up by NaNoWriMo, but no later than that. Sorry, and thank you.
