Hi everybody! I know I haven't done the stream for February yet due to some delays, but since March is already here, I wanted to get the ball rolling on questions.

I'll update this OP once we have the February Q&A up so y'all know which questions you don't need to ask, but for now, I'll let you know what topics we'll be covering in Feb's Q&A when it does air:

I'd like to ask what prevents kRO/Gravity/whoever is responsible from delivering updates that should've been a long time ago?

My question is why iRO hasnt added yet the malangdo enchants for other weapons, RTE and noble cross for instance. Even though kRO hasnt given you the patch for this, cant you add it manually just like how you add newer costumes to be enchanted???? Even NTFactory NPC says that we go to malangdo to have our noble cross be enchanted

All official servers have alt cloth colors for Kagerou/Oboro, why iRO does not have it?

All official servers have alt cloth colors for Kagerou/Oboro, why iRO does not have it?

This was addressed in the January thread! Here is the specific answer from the studio:

 

 

 

 

  • When are we going to get the alternative sprites(second costume) for 3rd job? (from jRO I believe)
    • (Official answer) We are currently making the second costumes for every class in consecutive order.For kRO, we are considering to implement all the second costumes in one single update once the costumes are ready.Also, we plan to apply this update as a game content rather than selling these costumes as cash items.

I mean that ninjas second class can't change their colors with "Clothing Dye Coupon" since 2013.

 

The ninjas are the most bugged class (over 5 bugged skills)! Give them love!

 

Would appreciate if kRO sent us a complete bug fix.

About immobilization skills in game i.e Fiber Lock, Ankle Snare, Close Confine and etc. are there any plans on actually preventing trapped players to backslide/snap away? I mean it doesn't make sense, it just makes the skill pointless if players are able to still move while trapped, or is this one of the many bugs in RO that was probably overlooked by developers? or is it working as intended?

 

Hoping to have this included on the next set of questions to be asked, thanks.

Could iRO have more opportunities to create equipment for the game? With greater control so that they maintain their intent?

 

Are there plans to increase the level limits of Expanded Super Novice to 175/60? It is arguable that they may need more than Job 60, though. Also, is there a reason why the class wasn't granted more skills from the 2nd and Transcendent Classes?

 

Are you ever going to address the Rogue Class skills Remover (Cleaner) and Piece (Flag Graffiti)? The skills are not implemented and don't do anything, yet they are requirements for other skills.

 

Have you ever considered revamping the hiring process and performance of Mercenaries? Consuming Loyalty Points is very tedious to amass and is more of a deterrent for higher grade Mercenaries, especially when the given skills aren't too helpful with their current mechanics.

 

Would it be possible to implement new higher tier Mercenaries to level with, above 99? We have a few that exist, but those are only tied to quests.

Scarabas are one of those few and are not quest tied.

Could we get an update to iRO's MVP table? Monsters that give MVP reward on kRO don't on iRO, like Entweihen Crothen, Naght Sieger, Bakonawa, etc.

 

Also, some instances are missing parts of the instance script on iRO. Could we get these updated too? Here are the ones that I know of:

 

Bakonawa's Lake: In addition to hidden monsters that cast Meteor Storm, hidden monsters that cast Storm Gust are also supposed to spawn, but these are missing on iRO.

Charleston Crisis: Constants are supposed to spawn in and explode around the center of the instance while you're fighting Charleston 3, but they don't on iRO.

Horror Toy Factory: Celine Kimi is supposed to "cast" (should be "summon", I think they're just hidden monsters) Fire Walls around her, but she doesn't.

Q: Will you ever implement Paramarket in iRO? It's been months since there is no update about it, if so, when would you implement it and what specific items will it cater in order to have a zeny sink?

 

Would you mind simplifying some of the tedious quests especially to thos entrance to MVP maps like Fallen Bishop and Kiel?

 

What are the exciting updates to look forward to this 2017 until next year?

 

Is it possible that iRO alter damage formulas that is suited for iRO mechanics rather than follow kRO/jRO's gear descriptions?

1. Will Lasagna buildings eventually get interiors? Considering how every town you've designed and even Malangdo have buildings with interiors, it's very disappointing for Lasagna NPCs to be stuck out in the open like they do in RO2.

2. There is interest in the community to acquire official RO merchandise, but most of them are only available in Asia. Is there a way to make those merchandise (Angeling selfie stick, Poring plushes, RO t-shirts, etc.) available to international players?

3. There are plenty of undead horse monsters in RO, but why aren't there any living horses? RO already has cows and donkeys, so why not horses? Especially given the legend of Sleipnir in Norse mythos.

4. Since you have made it much easier for players to pump up their stats via shadow gears and a super high level cap, how do you plan to address the challenge issue of RO since giving boss monsters more HP doesn't do anything to make them challenging?

5. With jRO's alternative sprites for 3rd Classes eventually going to be available to all official servers, does this mean players will finally be able to gain back the original Rune Knight sprite and the different colored dragon mounts that went with it?

there's no difference, jRO only has it updated with being a ranged attack, like kRO.

When are you gonna give iRO more liberty in making custom items?  (im not into having iRO make custom changes though on what are official with how iRO is very dependent to minor number of players)

jRO/kRO gets all kind of cool design contests, but when we try it out, we don't even get them...

 

Edit: Are kRO devs aware that people have been waiting for Guild Warehouse update for a long time? This would make supplying and sharing of items much easier, we need those kind of quality of life updates for guilds, can we get an ETA on it?

 

Edit#2: Speaking of quality of life updates, please get kRO to send us their alt+click or ctrl+click function (I forgot which exactly) that allows you to remove/take items from storage WITHOUT DRAGGING THEM, instantly!

jRO/kRO gets all kind of cool design contests, but when we try it out, we don't even get them...

 

I second this, last I recall Oda was making a proposal and sending it off to kRO, did this ever happen? Did they reject it?

The edited part of this. My question is related to QoL stuff too: With the great success of the RODEX implementation, can we hope to expect more important bug fixes and such? Obviously keeping in mind what cannot be altered due to previous programming ect.

Someone linked something I think in the proposals section or the translation section that showed the ability to make gear swap sets. It looked fantastic.
