I don't think so, but I'm not 100% sure on this. But as far as I know they do not have any purpose anymore, no matter if they still drop or not.

Just hijacking the topic for a short moment, if possible.
I think there are more than one way to get some Elunium, the only one I know being the conversion from Valkyrie Equipment to Elunium, could someone make a list?
