GMs .... YOU really have to read this before server merging.

I think its pretty bad choice to do server merge before the server open events is on, since what you guys do is making it harder then it already is for people to recieve reward.

Did you guys even think about this? instead of 100 people got chance of reward, it turns to 10 people because you gather all up on same place, and i think its lame to do it before this event ended.

Im pretty sure how you write about server merge you guys didnt even think about this, it will make alot of people angry, since being top on their server doesnt mean they will be top anymore once the server merge.

SUGGESTION/SOLUTION:

Do the server merge AFTER the Server Open event days is done.

I agree 100% Siamore...i chose svr 7 cause i knew it would be lower pop and better chance at rewards... and really 4 days into open and merging when day 5 and 6 are best rewards... well guess im not getting any of em now...if i continue to play ....what a sad joke and they say they will be able to better manage the game and they have issues with so much other stuff that needs to be fixed...

Agreed with the general consensus. On server 4, NOBODY is happy about it. It took less than a week and you guys are taking such an extreme measure. Time and money was spent on individual servers and it truly isn't fair to your customers that made the ranks respectively. Please reconsider what the early adopters are saying here. It'll hurt the reputation in the long run.

Not only did you screw people over bigtime with the Diamonds doing some sneaky scumbag move of changing the exchange rate from 1:1 to 10:4 (what the actual flying fudge?) but now you are gonna smash everyone together on 1 server and completely screw over people that charged to get some of the server rewards? this definitely looks like it was planned from the start... 10/10 douche bag scale

Honestly I am disappointed with the merge personally now if they were to split between NA and EU I would be more inclined to be more hospitable to the situaiton.  However Kent did warn us all in S10 to come here and voice our opinions.  I may not like this merge but perhaps despite the populations the other servers are not as full as we presumed.  I am afraid to invest my money into this but I am going to anyways tomorrow because I believe in warp;  what I think needs to happen at this point is that Warp explain beyond their simple explanation where is the data that supports this merge...  Perhaps it is temporary and they will break up the servers later?  I dont know...  All i do know is this game hasnt been launched what 3-4 days now and we are getting a merge.  Perhaps the diamond issue may be fixed with this but we have to try to remain optimistic and this will beef up the contibutions to the guilds to vie for the top spot.

It will be dead in a week or 2 anyhow.. once people see that it costs 100$ to open Card slots... The exchange rate needs to be changed 1;1 right away.

I dont care either about the server merge if it wasnt because of this SERVER OPEN EVENT, just that event is for each server and when they gather up all servers together the chances to win the reward people expect to win wont be possible anymore, is just a big NO, its lame marketing.

After this event they free to do a server merge.

Unfortunately, this was the developers call and not ours. The option of doing it sooner rather than later was decided, and we felt this would be less disruptive in the long run for the community as a whole if we did it sooner. 

That is a joke "Less Disruptive" during the server opening events thats like opening a fast food place and after the order are in sayin oh we forgot to order the food sorry.dont care that you already paid for it..come back again.

They forgot about the Server Open Events, its an unfair move from ur side and it have to be sorted out, and i suggest you to get 1 of the devs to read this topic since they really have to do this after the SERVER OPEN EVENT, they cant do it now while its SERVER OPEN EVENTs when its 10 different servers who been fighting whole time on their own server to get to the top.

I did not spend money into this game to get scammed like this, its like an compleatly false marketing from the devs.

That arnt really solving, it just explain you ask us to spend more money to be able to get "those rewards", its an really unjustice mode from their side,

Especial when me and some friends been spending TONS OF REAL MONEY, TO GET TO THE TOP IN RANK OF THIS EVENT,

With all due respect, developers normally don't care about customer service. It's not their job to do so. Why does it HAVE to be done now? If the servers are staged and active, why is it so critical in the middle of an event at server launch. I think the community deserves to know in full transparency what is truly driving this... especially since the notification was only posted a few hours before the merge.

 I worked as a CM before and honestly you can do only so much to keep the player-base appeased when it comes to these decisions;  Its like i try explaining to my clients about their HSAs and how there are actions and consequences that come with it.  Unlike the healthcare/tax/federal fields it is difficult to reign in a gaming community who has spent 14 years with RO and the other games that "Gravity" has offered and when warp took over; i cant speak for the others, but I think they felt betrayed when it came to the business model that came into being.  Game development is a very hectic field and one that people do not realize the amount of money that really goes into funding these projects to even allow a cash shop in the first place.   While i am not an expert; I do understand the logistics of it, the community on the other hand will have to adapt as we always have.  

Sad point is with all these wonderful games that are offered; what about fixing some of the dynamics with the Ragnarok projects to limit the amount of botters; already in this project i saw a botter farming Prontera ( starting zone) i mean are we to expect that the farmers have found our haven now?  Could this also be the reason for the merge to perhaps limit the amount of exploits?  

Perhaps as a fellow CM could you shed some light in what the developers did have to say at the meeting?  Nothing NDA of course; but something to alleviate the current crisis. Many were complaining about the ratio of 10:4 when it used to be 1:1  so as someone pointed out it would cost 100USD to open card slots and such is there going to be a shift in the diamond market too to make the economy more stable?  I am going to be throwing money into this project in a matter of hours along with the others; and I guess I am just saying I understand your position and wish there was more I could do; however unless Warp decided to hire more CM's to help manage their growing community I cant do anything more than place some of these concerns on the table and perhaps let you sort them out on the boards. 

It's obvious that they don't want everyone to get all the boss cards from the charge event then do the merge, because that will discourage future spending.  But what they don't see is they are losing tons of potential revenue because of this bullcrap.

I don't understand why you guys are upset the servers are dead.

@ButterCup You might want to tell them and get them to look at this exchange rate.. for gems to diamond.. specially how outragious prices are for things in game already.. 40-100$ to slot 1 Boss Card.. People wont play this game longer then 1 or 2 more weeks when they figured that out....
