mob scarf vs toy for warlock

Has anyone here tried personally the mob scarf so far? Obviously the 360 matk boost should make a pretty noticeable difference in dmg so kinda waiting for people to give their tests about it xD. Only person that has tried it with WL that i know said that it was a disappointment

I think the dmg is very noticeable for some spells, you will kill things faster for sure. For the moment is the best for WL in terms of dmg you can get, now...if is really necesarry, i dont know, you will get probably some 20 to 30k increase on your dmg, so is really up to you, when i do the only instance i play (wich is HTF) i go with my friend Nyyaa and she is always with a Maestro so, so is already fast enough i think the skill cooldown timer dont even pass a third of the thing when celine drop dead by chain lightning spam.
 

I would more likely like this for and IF i ever make it to 150 on my other WL at this rythm haha, i had catched up on gears to you guys but was left behind again since i took a break. My CR dmg only goes to 80-100k max so one shotting is sort of a dream for me at this moment. Slowly taking the rythm of things since more and more gears are being launched with this "....." OCP boxes

Crush Strike/Crit RKs should love it too; phys atk %, flat matk, crit damage, crit rate, aspd, all good stuff for them. 

Im still so F***ing happy i got this scarf within 15 boxes!

i did some calcualtion with my end damage and i got a 23% increase in damage (TV on ice wall). This is a comparison with all my woe gear on, its just scarf vs w/o scarf. I find this item to be too good to be true!

i really wish ocp8 will have honor tokens as a prize. right now my ranger is doing the instance and old prontera quest for 14 honor tokens per day. I only have 120 tokens so far, really wish i had tijme for farming quest items.

but right now it takes me 20min/day to get 14 tokens, and thats good enough for me. 3 months of doing this though could get pretty boring

I don't do the dailies where i need to farm those items haha, i do the ones at: Prison (7 x 4 = 28 tokens) Kitchen (3 x 4 =  12 tokens) Bijou (10 tokens) Richard family hunt Undead Type at Prontera Invasion (4 tokens) and Prontera Invasion rescue (4 tokens) for a total of! 58 tokens daily without having to farm items, tbh i preffer it like this, only one that truly takes time it's the Frozen Wolf one at Prison cause low drop rate and low spawn of monsters xD. So far 234  tokens so 18 days away from it

ill try out the prison and geoborg quest, not sure how long the hunting quest takes, ill try it out if i can quickly kill monsters.

irowiki says that it only gives 2 tokens, so i didnt bother. it still says 2 tokens, but if its per mvp, then it might be worth it

For the hunting one i highly recommend undead type since you can go to Prontera Invasion map and kill the zombie guards there, they're 145 and easy to kill so just teleport around killing them

he's an auto warger though, so mobbing isnt a good idea. the restat/reskill service ended recently si i dont think ill be arrow storming anytime soon. if i can kill and encounter a monster within 12 seconds everytime i should be able to finish in around 10 minutes. thanks for the tips, ill go try them out later

i was rushing the texts, so know i have to kill 50 humans first, which i can confirm killing 50 human players in woe doesnt count lol. (i assumed it worked since "human" not "demi-human"), im also thinking if you have a warper to take you to orc village and bwing out, that might be a fastrer option, plus my lv3 AS can kill them

I dont get why the comparison between both items since they serve 2 completely different purposes.

If you need survivability, go Syringe. If you need damage, go Scarf. It is that simple.

. Warlocks are already hard to gear if youre somewhat new. Im not really zeny-plentiful. Might have to choose since both of them are high priced item. And right now reading the thread, im convinced to sell my toy and first robe to buy this scarf. And switch out to flamel instead like one of the suggestion.

With flattery and scarf, damage went almost double.

Pretty good for 2X amp'd Comet & amp'd CR if chained correctly.

SE damage (WoE mechanics) went up from 85k per hit to 155k per hit against 53% demihuman resistance. Gotta test it more but is not that bad.

Not really. 7% is not that much of the deal when you are getting almost 200% damage increase.

It would be different if it were MDEF but still damage boost is pretty good.

A good warlock should be able to 1 or 2 shot any non gtb class with SE now.

It is a huge of a deal when ppl are jumping from 82~83% to 90% demihuman reductions. You need to double your actual raw damage to just keep doing the same damage you do now.

You're probably talking about your damage on Celine Kimi. 30K is something like 20%, keep that in mind. My damage jumped from 280 to 350K against Bijou. I also noticed a decent increase against some MVPs I fought on Lab yesterday. I'll post a replay.

I hope they NEVER do such thing. They just released this content, let's not fully turn RO into P2W. Also, do kitchen for more 12 and Mesusas for 4 more, and Agnes for other 4. Most items that Agnes ask for are buy-shopable.

Im kinda salty on how MUCH is that scarf needed now.nothing in the game ever compares for wl.didnt get  from boxes so itll take me some months to farm to buy it

That's why we're salty on these items. They become some kind of a must, and you can only have then when and IF WP wants to. Unlike, for instance, Flattery Robe, that as long as you're patient and dedicated, you can have many of them.

Also, I'm positive this OCP will return in a Fire Sale sometime in the future. Probably not so far. Maybe after the next refine event, idk.

I second this, its a lot more convenient to do this at the same time when you are hunting frozen wolves and taffies in the prison.
