Hello there my character name is YeOldKnight. I am a pretty well known champion on the draconis server.
I will have 6 numbers of guides.
1. Soldier job change
2. What Soldier skills to learn
3. What stats to add
4. Where to train
5. Champion job change
6. What Champion skills to learn
7. Where to train past 100

Spear champ - best for PvM
Sword champ - best for PvP (imo)
Axe champ - good for PvP (Good ap but low accuracy)

Monster Strength Levels
|.........Strong...........|..........Medium..............|.............Weak.........|
| Purple | Pink | Red | Orange | Yellow | Green | Blue | Azure | Grey |
* The stronger the monsters, the more experience yeilded.

1...
*Once you get to level 3-10 go talk to Mariard[Akram Kingdom Minister], he is located in Adventurers Plains on the docks. He will give you a identification.

*After you obtain your identification make your way to the Canyon City of Zant.

*Look for Warren[Akram Kingdom Minister], he will give you your quest to change your job to a soldier.

*You will be sent to Leonard, after you talk to him you will be givin an assignment to kill honey bees, they are located in the southern portion of the town.

*After completing this, go back to Leonard, he will send you to kill elder pumpkins, these are found in Valley of Luxeum Tower.

*As you talk to Leonard, he will tell you good job, ect. Then you will head back to Warren. Abra kadabra you are a soldier.

2...
In order they should be learned
*Melee wepon mastery
*Melee Double attack
*Defence Training (optional, helps to stay alive)
*Staminal Assist
*Power OverFlow
*Two handed wepon mastery
*Any one of the three wepon mastery (Two Handed Sword Mastery, Spear Mastery, Axe Mastery)

*Branches to 1. PvM 2. PvP

1. PvM
*Heavy Attack
*Spin attack
*Peircing Lunge
*Voltage Scream
*After this save skill points for level 100
2. PvP
*Axe Launcher
*Leaping Axe Strike
*After this save skill points for level 100

3...
* Champions Stats -
Two Handed Melee Weapons (Axe, Spear, Sword): 1 str = 0.65 AP
1 dex = 0.35 AP
1 sen = 0.1 AP

One Handed Melee Weapons (Mace, Sword): 1 str = 0.65 AP
1 dex = 0.35 AP
1 sen = 0.1 AP

Crossbow: 1 str = 0.65 AP
1 dex = 0.35 AP
1 sen = 0.1 AP

These ratios do not take class AP passives into consideration.

1 con = 1.25 acc
1 str = 0.33 def
1 str = 2 HP
1 dex = 1.25 dodge
1 sen = 1 crit
1 con = 0.2 crit
1 int = 4 MP
1 int = 0.5 Magic Defense
(Thank you brownbear!)

1.Strength - adds attack power to all 3 wepon types, Adds hp, Adds defence, Adds max weight
2.Dexterity - Adds Dodge, Adds minor attack power to champion wepons(good for farming)
3.Concentration - add accuracy(Keep this about equal to your level. E.G. level 100 champ has 100 con)
4.Intellegence - TOTALLY POINTLESS FOR CHAMPIONS(Do not add this, it will not help you at all)
5.Charm - Yet Another pointless stat to add
6.Sense - Adds critical and little amounts of ap (not recommended)

*Good build -
1. Spear - 335 Strength, 200 Dexterity, 200 Concentration
2. Sword - 345 Strength, 180 Concentration, 220 dex
3. Axe - 360 Strength, 180 Concentration, 200 (Sense from what i have been told)
4. ATTACK POWER BUILD - Max str (400) & rest into dex

4...
*Good spots to train -
1. Level 1-10 Adventurers Plains, Jelly beans, choropys, and flanae (you could also venture into the Valley Of Luxeum Tower and kill pumpkins)
2. Level 10-20 Canyon City of Zant, (Woopies and Bees)
3. Level 20-30 El Verloon Desert, (Rackies, Beetles, Turtles)
4. Level 30-40 City of Junon Polis, (Moldies)
5. Level 40-45 Forest of Wisdom, (Smoulys and clowns)
6. Level 45-70 Kenji Beach, (Doongas and Krawfies)
7. Level 70-80 Gorge of Silence, (Stone golems and other mobs you may find)
8. Level 70-100 Desert of the Dead, Pumpkins and Anteres (PvP Zone be very carefull of Pkers), Goblin Caves B2 and B3

5...
*Level 100, 2nd job change(Advanced Classes)
1. Once you reach level 100, go to The City of Junon Polis, find the mayor(in the middle of the town by the big fountain) Darren. Talk to him, he will tell
you where to go.
2. Go to [Wepon Merchant] Crune, he will tell you to go kill supreme krawfie kings, only one is required.
3. Go back to [Wepon Merchant] Crune, then he will send you to Leonard in Zant.
4. Leonard will send you to kill 5 supreme goblin warriors, (goblin caves B2)
5. Go back to Leonard, he will send you to [Wepon Craftsman] Mairath in Breezy Hills, Mairath will send you to Gorge of Silence to kill ONE supreme stone golem.
6. Go back to Mairath, he will send you to [Historian] Jones, then he will give you a recommendation to take to the Mayor.
7. Take the recommendation to the Mayor, and he will make you a champion.

6...
*Champion skills to learn (In order of importance)
1. PvM
*Advanced Two Hand Mastery
*The Advanced wepon mastery you learned as a soldier ( Advanced handed Sword Mastery, Advanced Spear Mastery, Advanced Axe Mastery)

*Berserk
*Battle Sense Mastery
*Combat Resilience
*Combat Cry
*Seismic impact
*Achilles Heel Strike
*Champion Spirit
*Space Attack
*Blood Attack
*Quick Step
*(make sure you have all of your hp passives found in the common skill tree)

2. PvP
*Advanced Two Hand Mastery
*Advanced wepon mastery(Continued from soldier class)
*Berserk
*Champion Hit
*Slugger
*Blood Attack
*Battle Sense Mastery
*Melee Combat Mastery
*Combat Resiliance
*Combat Cry
*Champion Spirit
*Soundless Vacuum
*(make sure you have all of your hp passives found in the common skill tree)

7...
*Where to train past level 100
1. 100- 110 Desert Of the Dead, Anteres and giant anteres
2. 110-155 Oblivion Temple (find random areas with a lot of mobs to aoe)
3. 155- 210 Sikuku Underground Prison
4. 190- 215, Sikuku ruins (spiders)

Nice you managed to gather everyone's experience and put it in this thread. You got a few mistakes, 340 str is not enough to hold a sword and 350 is not enough to hold an axe if your referring to base stats. You can mention what are the ideal items/gear for a champion as well. Also it is advicable to add left-over stats to sen regardless of what weapon build you take to avoid getting critted as much from others. Otherwise this is an exceptional basic/fundamental guide.

This is true.

Yeoldknight you say to avoid sen unless you are using axes because of the crit passive. But realisticly look at it this way, axes have the lowest attack speed so you don't get as much of a benefit from meleeing compared to spears for example. You should add a few points into sen for any weapon as it will also be a cheaper alternative to attack power once str and dex begin to get to expensive.

Are you sure you need the double attack skill?

You need it if you choose to get soul wreck.

For pvm, I value the battle sense mastery skill higher than the specialised ap passive... 30% ap for 9pts>35% ap for 18 points. Space attack isn't very, if at all, relevant if you are going to pvm either. Also, you seem to have forgotten about the soundless vacuum skill! A must-have if you are into pvping or beating up kera!

AAAAALSO, I'd rank combat cry above all the other aoes, in order of importance. Seriously,,, def down=ALL other attacks become stronger against the target.

Siesmic impact is the most important, to me, because it has 2x > ap of battle cry. :P

Go use siesmic impact on a monster, then do battle cry on a monster. That will prove my point. :P

You also have to consider that one is magic based and on is physical. If you hit a magic based enemy (ie ghosts) seismic impact will do alot more than combat cry. And if you are hitting them with combat cry first, you have to remember that it comes with defense down also.

I guess you're right. But siesmic, overall does a lot more damage than combat cry. I prefer siesmic 10 to 1 in farming.

Do you know WHY it does more damage? Because you have already hit the monsters with Combat Cry... I just went on a trip around Eldeon hitting pretty much every monster, and the damage difference between the skills is minuscule (<10%), apart from when it comes to the magic based monsters like ghosts, et cetera.

I could post you a collage of screen caps proving your point wrong.

But yeah, I'm just giving you My two cents... If you are attacking a boss, wouldn't you do def down first? If you are going to aoe a huge cluster of monsters, wouldn't you do def down first? If not, you would be wasting at least a little time/exp, every time you didn't.

*pat~ I still luv you olfartz, no hard feelins! ;]

Okay since you're all going to jump on me for it, i'll change it.
But I have to say, if you think this is so bad, make your own damn build!

I'm sorry but I think it's more like the other way arround. Usually Magic Attacks hit higher than Reliable Weapon Attacks because they affect the Magic Resistance of the opponent which is usually lower than their normal Deffense.

Just FYI - this is not the way to get the highest ap. Not many will give their exact skill and stat builds... and i'm not going to do the work for you either - but just wanted to point this out for new people.
