Hi There,

I started a merchant but to be honest i have somes difficulties to find the right places and build to XP..

Right now i am so low lvl that i can virtually go to any build so...

Could you please advice me on the easiest (and yet able to woe in the future) build i could use for leveling a merchant ?

And additionaly on wich map i should start leveling ?

I kinda though an AGI/STR build would be an efficient leveling build but i got many doubt on his future WOE efficiency...

Thanks a lot for your help (and sorry for the butchered english w_w)

Good Day to you

Not everyone wants to dual client.

You could get the woe supplies from the kafra shop and do orcs / Toy Factory 2.

Stats to start: 20 str, 10-15 dex, 10-15 vit. Should be around level 15.

Go to Prontera culvert with lots of red potions. Level there until around level 30. Focus spores in level 2 for job exp, tarou for base exp, and try not to attack thief bugs when too many are around or you'll get mobbed. Your stats will be around 30-35 str, 25 dex, and the rest in vit. Move to payon cave. Target zombies who drop opals and skeletons who drop skull rings, and poporings who collect drops that other people didn't pick up. Pump str to 40. Head to wolves, two maps south of payon. Collect the strawberries particularly but everything is useful. Keep pumping str and vit. And dex, but that's less important until later. You can make do with around 35-40 until level 70 or so.

After job change around level 60-65, go to TF2 and hunt Myst Cases.

If you have the funds I suggest you get a ring pommel saber (a rapier will do if you wanna spend less), a buckler, shoes, muffler, cap and mail armor. Once you become a blacksmith replace your sword with an axe. But the def from a shield is pretty important early on.

Since we dont have the juice NPCs we cant leveling fast as merchant, only if you have already good zenny then with Mamonite still is good, but since is a new server, the only way is single target so better get some agi and ASPD pots. Im already job 50 but i still cant find that npc Bismarc D:

Pretty much the same as I posted up there but you'll take more damage until you can flee things more easily so you'll burn through more potions, and you run the risk of being mobbed more easily by assisting monsters like thief bugs and wolves (the more monsters attacking you, the less you can flee, but you kind of make up for it by killing faster), so you just need to use a bit more caution.

It'll generally be the same as what I addressed up there, but replace vit with agi. You might want to go a little lighter on agi and a little harder on str and dex but for the most part until level 70 it doesn't deviate much. In later levels I really suggest getting a bit of vit to augment your HP a little bit, or use a pupa card. You'll flee things less and less level 70+ and you'll be doing more mobbing with cart revo.

I'm noticing I haven't seen any forged weapons around yet? Is this because making a forging smith is so difficult on this server?

You want people to stay in Wolves till level 60-70? A bit overkill...

Also, why use sword until job change?

No, you can go to other places around level 45 or 50. But you can get away with 35-40 dex until around 70 when the hit requirement spikes a bit.

Swords have a higher aspd than axes and using a shield is pretty important for defense in the early stages. As a Blacksmith you should switch to an axe for the special skills for axes specifically, and an alchemist can switch to an axe too if they like since they have axe mastery (although for my alchemists I usually use an overupped saber with cards).

First, thanks for all your info, helped me level to around 45.  But where are these "other places" at that point.  Not sure where to go next?

Myst Cases in toy factory level 2 are pretty good, but you'll burn through a lot of pots if they mammonite you. Stay there until around level 60 or so and then head to High Orcs. Same case on the pots front unfortunately. That seems to be the best course right now until bathories get put in their usual map - I'm actually not sure where they are at the moment at all. Either way both monsters will take you to 99, though, slowly.

Slow leveling is the price paid for being a merch.

Nope, is because you need Stats for that build, and we dont have stats resets yet,i dont image someone leveling with full DEX / LUK, the only way i can see this is with leech lol
