So it's probably easiest to follow classic guides in regards to leveling. There's none of the renewal issues and needing to be fighting monsters 10 levels higher for max experience.
For Swordie, you can usually start out with Spores until 20-25.
Elder Willows are another option from 25-30.
Wolves can be your best friend if you mob and Magnum Break; I've gotten to 50 doing Wolves multiple times as a Vit Swordie.
Toy Factory 2 can be a great place. I was leveling here myself and spamming bash. It was costly for SP pots, but great experience still at 50.
Byalan can be another place to thrive -- more mobs and better drops. You can stay here for a while and kill Obeaune until 55+.
You also have the lowest level of Byalan if you have pots to burn and either a Wind weapon or carded weapon.
High Orcs are another solid choice for 60+ if you have an Ice weapon or something carded (either Hydra or Orc Lady cards will speed things up).
Minos are good to take down if you have Pierce and a good weapon.
And probably the best option at this point is getting a large party at Magma with a few Wizards, Priests and so on. Everyone needs a tank!

Alternative:
~After making new char and killing few monsters make a party in the training grounds and grind to lvl 18
~At lvl 18 go change your class and go make or join a party in payon dungeon. Stay there untill lvl 30
~At lvl 30 move 2 maps south of Payon (so calles wolfs map) get a party there and grind to lvl 40ish
~At this point try to get your wolf party to move to Orc Dungeon and grind there to lvl 45 (exp there isn't the greatest but the respawn is crazy fast)
~At 45 go to Al De Baran, talk to Santa and get him to move you to Lutie. Get a party in Toy Factory and grind untill 50 job (that's around 58 base lvl)
~After you change job ... focus on getting gear instead of lvling - but that's only my opinion
