On further evaluation I have concluded that to truly represent the transcendent class flavor, High Shadow Chaser Cross should have a skill that is unimplemented but is a pre-req for a later skill. 

 

Yes, that makes sense. 

 

P.S they will look even more like cross-dressing prostitutes.

I think they will give every class an MVP card effects passives as skill with the new awakening thingy. AB will get WL, Warlock gets Gioia, Sura gets a Tao and so on and on and on.

 

Before that they will balance every skill too. They will make GOH a projectile type of skill that is not target-locked.

Well, apparently the assassin already won, since it killed the 'ghost of war' in the first place. 

 

Is that the true meta plot? In pre-renewal, sin-xs murdered the champions and now they come back as vengeful spirits to kill GXs? 

 

It all makes sense =(((

ugh 165 to 175 was a real pain personally so 175-185 has to be entertaining on another lvl or else i just dont see myself pulling that off

These are loosely based on that. Jiangshi can't exist as a playable character in RO because it is undead. That would complicate the game even further.

I hope you won't get bored waiting for the new classes, awakening and all. It won't be coming anytime soon.

They said these classes will be updated within the second half.

 

3. Awakening system

level 175 players can 'rebirth' to level 100 with new skills and appearance and level cap is expanded to 185. (expanded level is for rebirth character only)

the rebirth players can access new maps, new equipment and new monsters.

This content may be updated within the first half of next year.

 

Other stuffs

 

- Ghost servers in KRO, Thanatos, Sarah and Rangris will be merged into a new server name 'Yggdrasil'.

There were couple of good updates but but, about the awakening system.... I think this is a bit bad (sorry) idea.
Players have invested much on levelling chars up to 175. Frankly speaking, its not an easy thing to do.
For a player to level/max faster, you will need VIP. Consider also the supplies needed (+ battle/Job manuals).

The game/management will profit since players who want to have new sprites and new level cap will be rebirth(ed) to 100 and will buy supplies again (admin perspective). But doing this, many (who are max-ed, think of a player that max-ed out more than 3 characters), will be annoyed since they've invested much already. It may lessen the number of players playing the game (player's perspective).

Why not just make all classes "max" at 185 without the need to rebirth back to 100. They will still invest on supplies and VIPs to level from 175~185.

Just voicing out an opinion :D

Because the rebirth system is an easy way to "extend" the existing content of the game without adding new content. This is the reason why the original rebirth system came about and they're doing it again to delay having to actually come up with new content for the game. Why else would they decide to not make Jotunheim and Alfheim areas the 100+ zones and leave Midgard and Niflheim the 1-99 zones? Because that would require fleshing out the New World and that's just too many maps for their poor widdle developers to make from scratch.

Is the awakening system now a sure thing? I remember seeing a post in December 2016 that kRO still isn't sure if they'll push through with it. I feel that it's a terrible idea to rebirth again.

It hasn't been implemented, but it is definitely in the works.

 

The last update on it was in the last devnote released. Which gave details that once you rebirth to 100, you will start collecting an additional type of points that can be spent on secondary stats (flee, atk, matk, mdef, def, hp, sp, crit, etc) and apparently modifiers (crit damage%, ranged damage%, etc). 1 point per base level, what it costs to increase each stat/modifier hasn't been said yet, but....

 

Game is broken.

It will still be the same leveling spot from 100 onwards. Heck, I don't know what to expect anymore. Instead of creating new content for leveling they will just re-adjust the monsters again for their own convenience.
