Can someone explain forging?

Hello everyone. Forging has interested me but I have always been confused. If anyone has a good guide or could explain. Lets just focus on my two handed axe for example.

How do i make a VVS 2handed axe?

How would i make an elemental 2handed axe?

Whats the best way to actually make some profit off forging?

To make a Two-Handed Axe, you'll need:

Oridecon x 8
Steel x 10
Amethyst x 1

Oridecon Hammer x 1 (for level 3 weapons)

Then to make it Very Very Strong, you'll need:

Star Crumb x2

Then to make it elemental, you'll need any of these:

Great Nature x1

Rough Wind x1

Flame Heart x1

Mystic Frozen x1

Elemental daggers would probably sell well since a handful of classes can use them.
