Doesn't really answer his question, since this is a new server with a LOT of broken things. I personally didn't see my Hit status go up per point I spent (and I checked), so I doubt it's working correctly and giving hit..Sorry, I need to see actual #'s and not an imaginary belief.

It never straight up raised hit rate in renewal like it does in classic, and its renewal mechanics so...

I've read that it raises your chance to hit in the same way that bash does.

ex: 80% chance to hit an enemy plus weaponry research .80*1.2= 96% chance to hit.

But do not take this as fact.

Just another one of those things that was changed in renewal for seemingly no reason.

I mean, if you wanna use that logic, it raises accuracy as a whole (which won't show), and raises attack...My attack didn't go up per point spent at all. And the skill tool tip ingame doesn't claim that it does either. Sooo....I still don't believe it's working properly.

Edit to add: Tested with screenshots. Weaponry research does not increase Attack. (Just as it likely does not increase anything related to hit). I'll submit this as a bug, but pretty sure I'll get a "working as intended" response.

I don't know if it is working, but in fact as the friend above spoke the skill never modified the substats window, nor in servers classic or renewal.

90% sure it works, just doesn't show in your stat window

I guess the only way to test would be several monster kills with Maximize Power, then put a point into Weaponry Research and kill the same mob a few more times. See if there's a difference in damage. If there is, it works. If not, it doesn't. I don't have the skill points atm, but I'll let you know what I find out soon.
