Since when it doesn't has to be Halloween themed anymore ? 

It never was. The title might be a misleading. However if you can create a halloween themed one it's fine. It's all about costuming on halloween. 

Last year we had the Super Dragon Ranger costumes which are not halloween themed - or spooky of any kind. 

The rules do not state that the costume has to be themed.

 

 

 Pick parts of existing costumes, then mix and match them together to create a new costume you would love to have your character wear!

Picking just halloween/spooky costume parts would limit the diversity a lot.

What was even the point of adding "Halloween" in the name of the event then ?

The costumes will be released for the halloween season.

here's my entry I might try another set if I get the time

the changes here are:

the whole joseph part is more brightly orange-red, and the jewlery around their necks are white.

the ghost buster bottom is black with red stocking.

kimart wings are invertedly colored, where was red before now is black.

the naughty devil horns are all red.

and the metal sunglasses have a red rim. I would've loved if they could've been more transparent. 

i didn't have any dracula gloves but i remembered they have black nails, so I drew them here xD

Cute Blue Messenger set was one of my favorite in the last event. Too bad we won't see a set like that one this time.

That would be great thing to do and would make ofc Set Designers even happier! 

Sets sadly do not display any description. I would need to change the client for that but such change is not that important that it would have priority.
