New to RO2

Hello,

 

I am new to RO2, and plan on making a knight build. I have read the forums and I found a few things out but it seemed a lot of information was dated so just trying to get clarification if it is still relevant. My questions that I have are hopefully easy to answer. 

 

1) AGI/VIT or INT/VIT? Which build would be best for a PvE Tank build. Looking to be able to take some damage and deal a bit back in return while rest of party focus more on DPS

 

2) To go with first question whichever is best option is there a preferred stat distribution or is just pump vit till you take little damage and rest into other stat?

 

3) If i do not do a INT/VIT build is Battle Tactics worth getting since its crit increase is based off of INT?

 

I think that is it. If someone could clarify those few things for me then I can at least get a better feel of how to map it out and then learn the rest as I go.

2. well if you want to be full tank then go for full vit, if you want to be hybrid, use str and agi bind runes and for stat bonus, allocate it to vit
3. battle tactic is capped at 200% now, so int more than 1k is useless

2. i would prefer full tank so guess I am going full vit. So just pump nothing but vit and no other stat the whole time?

3. Pick up battle tactics then or just leave it out? if I am full tank my damage is gonna be low so not sure if the crit boost is worth it

BT should be max and raise your int up to 1k, without it your threat will be so low that dps classes are going to be targeted by mobs, because dps classes in endgame have crazy damage

yeah I agree.. BT was the edge we have when we are tanking. Aside from Provoke and Mass Provoke, those big crit damages actually help contain the aggro only to us before esp within parties and raids that have very op DPS chars.

Ok good thing i always keep a few extra points on hand so i will add them to BT, and see where it takes me from there.
