Its useful against any demihuman mobs, not just PVP. Other than bio 4 parties, this KVM staff is useful in bio 5 fragments hunt and GMT instance as well.

I agree with LordYggdrasil.

Its the Top weapon in Bio3/4/5 and GMT instance.

Also for WoE when it was alive, and PVP too, but since I dont do PVP/WoE anymore, the best thing where I use its biolab.

Certain MVPs are Demi-Huma. Best weapon for bio4 instance too if fights against demi-human.

yes but to get this item you need to collect 2000 badgets and to get those you need to play arena

Yea, before Faceworm, you had 2 ways to farm. Doing TIs or buying Old Purple Boxes. Now with the GFSS are pretty damn easy and fast. and ofc KVM is not like other weapons, even like crimson or vicious, the difference between +11 and +12 its a lot, same from +13 to +14.

Yesterday I started with +13 KVM and trying to get +14, lower to +10 and burn almost 100, on the last 2 HD Bradiums i get +12 T_T

Dont try going at +14 unless you have at least 1000 HD Bradium, 100 aint even likely to get you to +13 considering on average you need 150(and can easily be 200-300 for bad RNG).

Two Reasons:

1. +14 is usually achievable for a budget of $100-200, +13 is too easy and +15 is too hard.

2. +14 is where the KVM bonus will stop at, so ppls will go for it like why most go with +15 for crimson weapons.

I'm not rich enough to get it either. I'd understand if I had enough zeny to spend, nothing else to spend it on and got at least an Amdarais, a Vesper and an SFB or a Kiel or a GTB of my own (and one of those gears listed before it, lol). $200 is a bit more than a full day worth of my work. If I didn't have bills to pay and a family to support, I might consider it, right now totally not worthy. I'm pretty happy with my +13 VM Rods, +13 KVM Staff and the +13 Flatteries that I intend make. And I won't spend an extra $200 to get +2% MATK/+5% SE damage on my Bio5 HG.

Skip the Witch's Pumpkin Hat. I can't stress enough how good the new +7 Octopus hat is. I have no idea why people are selling it for so cheap, but I find it to be one of my favorite items in game. I've stop buying ranked slims since this items got release. It's so easy to gear switch plus it heals so much better than ranked slims. It's even better if you stack it with the skelly pet. I personally think that it's amazing with or without the skelly pet.

Tip: Use an alt to mail yourself fresh fish while doing instances. You'll never run out of fresh fishes nor do you have to go back to town to get more fresh fishes. If you're rich, you can use the kafra card to instantly access your storage as well.

By now Octopus Hat is indeed better, requiring only the upper headgear slot only vs Alarm combo's three headgear slots is really nice.

However when this thread was made there was no Octopus Hat available.
