I've tried to compile a list of things out of what I've seen being pointed out as the primary concerns, both immediate and long term. Attempted to rate them in order of importance. Suggestions are welcome, I'll add them in:

 

1. Short/Long term plan to implement a server without WOE pots, like the other revo-classic servers are realizing and implementing now.  (or at least balance pricing a bit closer to actual white/blue pots)
2. Re-balance classes to make everything besides knight actually worth playing (point 1 will help with this tremendously, it will also make 2-2 classes much more purposeful. Eg. Reduce monk GFist cooldown to 5 seconds instead of 10, make alchemist pot brewing, the class' USP, actually relevant again etc.)

3. Address the "too many castles too few people" problem that was yet again evident this woe, which is making the meta furthermore about just taking empty castles in the final 3mins. 

4. Fix major game-breaking bugs, eg. what happened last week about treasure chests. 

5. Fix slightly less game-breaking bugs, eg. crimson weapons. 

6. Re-balance the spawn rate of guild dungeons so that it graphs upwards with more people on the map (it's currently static).

7. Actually inform people before putting in features like the minimum-10-step recall distance around emps. 

8. Ban bots on woe maps, and ban bots in general to make woe a more even contest so that fair players can come up.

473. Bother lending an ear to those few players with absurdly entitled attitudes, who have a problem with the most fairly balanced thing about WOE on iRO Odin right now: the time. 


PS. I had to watch my cat take a very slow crap on Saturday morning, we couldn't make it. This is insane, everyone knows that cats are the real players on this server, you need to change WOE time. I don't know to what, but I'll check with Cheshire and get back to you.

Just release them all. Screw the roTH/roPH schedule. It doesn't work in the west.

It does seem pointless to time gate class releases. Monk/Bard alone will balance most of these complaints.

• Improve Assassins for WOE.

How?

Make CRIT GREAT AGAIN.

Make Crit ignore defense like in Classic. Change Emperium's STATS to Classic (High HP & High Def) So Crits would be used in WOE.

 

I also saw an update in KRO episode 16 where CRITICAL STRIKES WILL DOUBLE ATTACK → IT JUST MAKES SENSE !!!!!!!!

If you implement this, then you wouldn't need to change Emperium's stats. Assassin will be just tagged as a beast in PVM and weak in WOE.

Maybe you can also improve ASSASSIN by making KATAR DOUBLE ATTACK 3 hit the emperium instead of 2! Dual Dagger Double Attack 3 hits the emperium (If I am right). I mean, COME ON, other jobs with Snek Hat will 2 hit the emperium. Meanwhile, Assassin with Snek Hat + Lvl 10 Dual Attack will ALSO ONLY 2 hit the Emperium? Justice please!

 

• Remove G Fist cooldown for MONKS!

(I posted this in another thread, I'm just gonna copy paste it here)

It should be fookin removed!

 

After G Fist, Monks cannot use any other skill & cannot even POT! It's like a Kamikaze Attack.

 

Also, MONKS still have to cast Spirit Spheres 10 times + 1 Explosion. I think that's enough downtime for the next G Fist.

When there are Monks in both guilds battling, either Monks can just Absorb Spirit Sphere the other and that's another downtime for G Fist.

Another thing, Monks will consume a lot of Blue Pots, that's already a disadvantage on their part for playing a Monk.

 

MONKS are NOT SURAS PEOPLE!!! IMPROVE THE GAME!!!

 

 

If I don't see any improvements in the game and see it in the future as sh*t as it already is, then fooooooooook me

 

The players themselves would know what are the reasonable improvements because THEY ARE THE ONES PLAYING

 

Are the GMs even playing? They did even test the game before they started the it or did they just rode on the hype train & copy pasted it from ROPH & ThaiRO for $$$$$$$$$. Damn.

knights aren't that OP, it's just that we only half half the classes

 

having all the 2-2's will make woe gr8

Fix the flag in points and update them to post-recall locations; right now they're designed for pre-recall

 

Make the clickable flags inside the castle unclickable, they're annoying

It's dumb to wait 3~4 months to get all the basic classes in a 15 year old game.

The time should be changed, it is stupid.
 
Otherwise yeah, I agree with woe pots breaking the server, no 2-2's make woe dumb, crimson weapons should have never been in, GD spawn rates are also bad, and also, turn GD pvp back on.

Something needs to be done about the woe pots for sure, it is too strong and the current classes aren't. These pots feel like they were designed for the rebirth and beyond  classes.

I do like the proposal of realese the classes gradually, the meta change every month, that's interisting

but I think that monk must be realesed soon to stop that stupid kina meta ...

than bard to make meteor storm viable and sage

 

the blast mine is nerfed or something in woe here? cuz when I saw that video of a single hunter stopping the rush of kinas with a ground control of mines I though I'd have it here too, but we don't see much trapper in our woe, don't we?

dont need change woe time (or maybe +1h maximum)  becouse not all live in PST . its good time to europe, russian and asian players

 for equality, in other woe day its was more comfortable for us, br and other from other side world.  its international server or what ^_~  (we all know this woe on chaos on 4am >.< )

 

 

woe supply is comfortable , but really exterminate all other potions. (but we love it ^^)

 

repair recall, or say to us what it is a normal (not plz)

 

GF is must be with a cooldown, but maybe, 10sec is very much , how about ~5 ?

HELLO GMs. These are actual players who are actually playing the game. If there are people who have a general feel & knowledge about the iRO Ragnarok RE:START GAME PLAY, it's gotta be them. So I hope you take note of the suggestions given here. At least comment something like "Noted" to show that you guys are actually reading the suggestions

There appears to be a ninja patch to the guild recall skill. I am trying to get more details.

The changes to the guild recall skill were classified as a bug report and were waiting on a fixed EXE

Does this affect chaos or was that only on RE:start? @-@ I was recalling near Emperium's just fine

It would have affected all servers. It was part of our server executable for the nightmarebiolabs update.
