bishop is one of the unexpectedly easiy mvp to kill if you dont tank it. His skill mechanism is such that he doesnt use any holy attacks while chasing, so if you just kite and kill his minions, you dodge a lot of damage just by using evil/undead armor while he does nothing to you since he walks so slow.

Mike, you forgot that temp dex offered 5% ranged attack instead of just 3 dex per 3 refine

Indeed but as a Rebel you can easily get 60%+ Ranged damage already, which makes it meh compared to 71 EATK.

71 eatk can also be meh when some weapons have cofcof 400 atk cof :v

that being said tho, if you are not using an abusive/flattery with dex runes, the amount of ranged% you get isnt too absurd(43~60 depending on headgear/garment card/weapon card choices)

I can reach 63% ranged easily as a Rabel, which makes 5% not quite as good as 71 EATK, for every skill there is for Rabel.

Slug Shot, Standard Rebel Setup (Death's Fire), Mod Dex Boots

Slug Shot, Standard Rebel Setup (Death's Fire), Mod Str Boots

 

So comparing the two like so, the Mod Str Boots are only a fraction stronger than Mod Dex, not enough to make too much of a difference it seems, so go with whatever suits, but don't bother with the special enchants honestly. RT and FR kill most packs anyways, and FR+Slug Shot will handle MVPs, the HE proc really isn't worth it but in the end make your own choice :U

hi what skill would be good for killing scarabas in hall 1? so far my idea was quick draw shot but i was woundering if Mass Spiral would be 1 shot or mark + Dragon Tail?

lucky day is worth if you can get it though. Very easy to proc and no sp drain like HE. Just a pure add on bonus

 

It's not even about the drain, it's that the only skill HE would be noticably worth while for will only be valid for one hit, it's quite the constraint and honestly not needed.

rifle works with aspd build or crit hence its not suitable for rifle build to use platinum altar,

hit barrel is better if you want to use mass spiral due to 2 seconds fixed cast.

not planing to auto attack with rifle just wanna use 1 single target skill that hits for good dmg and then switch weapon to pistol to finish it off . i know slug shot hits like a truck but bullets are to heavy. is there no ther single target skill in the arsenal?

1. You can mob scaraba_1
2. If they are going to die from both the aoe or the single target skill, it doesnt matter what you use.

Mass Spiral works on enemy's def,  higher the def, stronger the damage. but the scales is just too high.

thats also the secret how the damage from a skill with very weak 1000% modifier can jump to 1m when hitting enemy with very high def.

 

not just that, this skill works with def piercing items or cards. i have tested this skill before.

this skill also works with Memory of Thanatos effect that grants you def piercing + increased damage based on enemy's def.

basically with thana, it does double effects :p_conf: .

 

Unfortunately , this skill packed with weakness as well, first it has 2 seconds fixed cast, while i dont call this weakness

but you need to constantly use hit barrel instead of platinum altar, due to reduce fixed cast. so no barrier for you, unless you have fixed cast reduction card.

with hit barrel and temp dex boots, it goes to 0.5 secs fixed cast and 1 secs var that you can reduce 100% by stats :pif: .

 

second, it has 2 seconds cooldown, not possible for you to spam and you cant chain this skill with Anti-Material Blast, since it has longer CD.

unless we are talking about jRO rifle :heh:  no cd for you.

 

 

 

 

 

 

ohh, just use Fire Rain ?, it is aoe but in straight line, also you can use Anti-Material Blast.

ok let me ask this. Is Mass Spiral a good single target skill?

WIth 13x13 AOE around you, why you want to one on one when you can poke so many insects in narrow space like that?
Or just poke them using one hit bullet to draw them to you, then round trip to finish bunch of them. With this, you safe a lot of time and SP, rather than using single target skill that has long cooldown.

You can easily afford to have two weapon builds as a rebel with their preliminary gunslinger skill maxed for the probation weapon's effect.
