15th Anniversary Event : Golden Precious Tour II

Period : November 28 ~ December 12, 2017

    To celebrate 15 years of Japan Ragnarok Online’s official service, Gungho helds a grand anniversary event for players to have fun with many precious rewards.

Overview :
    - Defeat monsters/bosses inside instance dungeons and gain many rewards.
    - 15th anniversary costumes.
    - 2 new zodiac headgears.
    - Countdown event on November 30.
    - 15th anniversary quizes / crosswords

To join this event :
1. In every town, there will be an event guide. Talk to her to get instant teleport to Alberta’s Precious Passenger Boat : Golden Glory.


2. When arrived at the event hall, walk above and talk to G Rockstar. He will reward with [Costume] 15th anniversary wing


3. Accept quests from Natsumi and then begin instance dungeons around the game world. (Teleport service offered)


Contents :
1. Rewards from defeating monsters

Spoiler

    This is the main point of this event. By defeating monsters or bosses inside instances, Natsumi will reward with G-Star point for each target. 200 points of it can be traded for a random reward.


    Furthermore, for every 200 G-Star points traded, besides the random item, player will gain 100 Item Tickets. These can be further traded for additional rewards including 3% HP/SP recovery item, catalysts for EDP/Geneticist’s brewing and costumes.


C-Rank instances : 100 G-Star Point (ex. Malangdo Culvert Beginner, Jitterbug Easy Mode, Tower of Demon God, Sara’s Memory and so on.)
B-Rank instances : 200 G-Star Point (ex. Old Glastheim Normal, War of Eternity Normal, Jitterbug Hard and so on.)
A-Rank instances : (I haven’t done it yet) (ex. Fenrir & Sara’s Red Gigantes, God of Death Yanku, S.J. Earnest Wolf and so on.)

(This is why JRO always emphasizes on increasing player’s level - author)

    There’re groups of Crystals appear within all instances as a bonus. Defeating them will drop Orideocon/Elunium or Yggdrasil seeds.

    Mysterious Anniversary Girl the 2nd has come for a request. By completing her quest, new costume for 15th anniversary is rewarded.

    There’s an NPC who give players a quiz 1 per day. If corrected, a random reward between OBB, OVB, Lv4 Weapon Box, Coin Holder, Jewel Box, OCA, Bloody Branch, Old Red Box and Special Table in a state of already opened will be given.

 

    Quiz will be available at 14 times maximum. Players who corrected 7 or more quiz can challenge the crossword puzzle.


    The crossword puzzle by the way, gives “15th anniversary card album”.


2nd day quiz : “who was the heroine of 2nd anniversary ? (5 letters)”

    On December 1 (Fri) 0:00 (Tokyo Japan) is the day Japan’s Ragnarok Online has come to its year of 15th. Just slightly before the time, there will be an in-game announcement for players to prepare.


    The brother of Baphomets are so dissatisfied of this anniversary and will come for a revenge. We, as strong adventurers must rise our weapons and protect our towns!


    This countdown event will run for 1 hour. When finished, a total number of monsters defeated for all servers will be summed and will reward all players with EXP ticket and exp/drop bonuses depending on the total number. If the total number exceeds 150,000, +10 Gachapon Ticket will also be included which give all participants for an only one +10 gear.

* I see a total of 13 servers opening in JRO, Urdr excluded because it’s a PVP server.
* JRO, unlike other places, has a maximum refine level of +10.

    They’re Gemini Crown [1] and Sagittarius Diadem [1]. Headgears can be obtained via Precious Machine (random). While the complete Gemini and Sagittarius must be assembled by 200 fragments obtained from Natsumi or Crystals inside instances.

Well, in my opinion, it's exactly the same as IRO.
It may be an illusion of Second Costumes or their headgears. Or even the PicPick (a screen capture software I've been using).

at +10 that's 100 STR, 150 Flee, 50 atk, 10% aspd, 20% hp/sp, and just +15% boss damage

Oh right, and basically free hp/sp that doesn't depend on being underweight (and so will work while in cloak too). 

... and it can't be destroyed  in battle ;D 

I'm all for comboing older crappier MVP cards to renew them but... dayamn. This item and their version of rockridge weapons is what inspired my last status post. Go home jRO, you're drunk.

Imagine of me doing all the things I've written in this topic for all 10 characters.

It's even nearly impossible within a day XD

(oh, haven't mentioned duties that keep me busy - like JLPT N2 exam for example)

I'm more interested in girl high wizard's costume because ... you know 

If someone started a vote, I'll say I love girl high wizard the most (out of transcendent classes).

16th Anniversary Event of Japan's Ragnarok Online

Background

    The official service of Japan's Ragnarok Online started on December 2002. Since the upcoming December 1, 2018 is their 16th anniversary, the weekly server maintenance at Tuesday November 27, 2018 is the day Gungho held this anniversary event. There will also be a countdown event held at the night of November 30.

The main play section is exactly the same as anniversary event held yearly. So I'm gonna skip that part and narrate something else that's interesting.

    There are 16 total characters available for the vote. Player is asked to choose one of them before getting the rewards.

There's also a sub-event held called "Monsters' Army Assault (モンスター大襲撃)". This runs for 60 minutes since November 27 until December 10 and the 30 minutes announcement before the event begins.

There's a table which tells the event time in the source link above. To summarize, it is held 2 times per day. Usually 14:30 and 22:30 in Japan's timezone.

2,500 all-star points which is equal to the 12 number of times of the Gacha-random reward.

↑ Due to the number of population of Breidablik server is too large, seems like GM team was requested to extend the number of channels from 5 to 7. Each channel can only hold 200 players.

There's also a little-but-not-quite-too-rare chance to get Gungho's cards such as Khalitzburg&Thara Frog Card, Arnoldi & Bigfoot Card etc. from the All Star Machine.

These Zodiacs are given by Natsumi-san as a reward for finishing each instance. 200 of them will assemble a big one. Which also means player will have to keep playing everyday for the rewards.
