Damage is more than fine, SP cost is fine since you will default a EDA most of the time. The issue is getting the cast delay and fixed cast reduction. There is only one way to get the true fixed cast reduction, however you could also just roll with 5 MA per second and use Fenrir Scrolls. But cast delay is the biggest issue, since most GX will not wanna drag around a Maestro. You would need 62% cast delay reduction if you wanted to get 5 hits per second, and that could work with a Fenrir Scroll. Also 55% cast delay reduction is fine if you want 4 hits per second, but you are border lining the point of why you would possibly want this to be a thing.

on top of that, the optimal weapons for damage arent exactly aspd friendly. (unless you go full eATK). Dual wielding and possibly a sword in main hand.

Awesome boots for leveling though, since you can easily achieve 100k per MA, and doing 2 attacks per second alone would make it viable.

for leveling/casually playing they are great. Just not easy to bring out the most DPS out of the skill.

If you want to just have some fun with it. Use them instead of a temporal boots of choice+Sapha Cloth+(that mouth gear that gives 5% reflect) and just do your regular RC build enjoying some powerfull MA procs.

With a +15 crimson katar, that would be more than 100k damage.

Considering the price of poison bottles nowadays, that seems to be a good alternative to RC build for lvling.

As I said, it makes a good leveling skill, just not an end game one.

So any recommendations for optimal weapons (leveling (leech) and pushing) at this point? 

Does Ice Pick work with def bypassing of enforcer & blacksmith gloves? 

I understand that for pushing it's insanely expensive to get rid of the fixed cast-time, but for leveling I'd strife for an optimized gear/build.

Make another Old Bone Circlet with Magic Essence Enchant lvl 3 (if your are willing to spend billions or millions if you're lucky at enchantment) or +12Heart wing hairband with KK card can also be an option.

New Wave Sunglasses plus strawberry mouth guard or the new combo Bio Protector + Pipe, both with the same 10% cast delay reduction

+10Evil Dragon Armor because you will not anymore use +9RWH or if you are not satisfied with your cast delay, you can opt for +9medical scrubs but with less leech proc

Ice pick effect will not stack with BS Gloves and it does not have leech effect. Better use Thanatos Katar with Hunter Fly card for more hp leech or if you are fighting MVPs, AK card instead

I initially thought it had VCT, but it doesn't.

As for attacks per second, I was able to get when testing.

What's this about casting animations? Self targeted skills aren't subject to animation delays, if they were then you wouldn't be able to RC more than once a second.

that is the same speed as a kiel/strings 193 RC.

It doesn't physically show the damage for all hits, but you can see by looking at the SP bar, it is doing 7 hits per second. It also shows it in the log as having dealt damage.

same weapon, even if i did EDP. RC will be around 100k

What weapon / setup are you using? 

I'm around 60k and have no clue how to reach those numbers. 

It's easy to hit 100k+ when dual wielding.

+15 crimson katar with correct endow should land you 80k
