Pure PvM Katar Raider - Passive type

Hello Guys,

Good Morning! Today I'll show you how to make a pure PvM Katar Raider passive type - PvM Katar Raider Crit type

Below is my stats

I put dex into 329, max out sen and str 99

Katar Wind Blessing, Swift Blessing, Katar Iron Blessing, Marksmen Blessing, Shield Blessing, Protection Blessing, Intense Blessing, Nimble Blessing, Deflection Blessing, Weight Training Light, Medium, Heavy, Advanced, Mastery, Valor Reward Bonus

Unique Skill Tab

Wired, PvM Sucker Punch, Call Beast, Fury, all necessary general passive skills.

GEAR:

Accessory Set -> Spider Bite/Venom Set with Dex/AP substat

Weapon -> Katar +20 with Wind Element, plus Blinding Malachite Marquise or blinding citrine marquise

Armor Set -> Courage Jackal Bandit Set +20

Courage Jackal Bandit Helmet -> Enthrailling Sunstone Pear

Courage Jackal Bandit Chest -> Peridot 7 or Blinding Rosasite Cushion with Wind Element

Courage Jackal Bandit Gloves -> Ravishing Tanzanite Baguette

Courage Jackal Bandit Boots -> Enthralling Start Quartz Asscher

Face -> Red Rose Captain's Eyepatch Crit/Mspd or sense/crit

Back -> Doctor's Back Arms with Blinding Gypsum Round

Costume Tab

Akram Kingdom Set or Ancient Royal Set

With Courage Jackal Set, Spider Bite/Venom Set, Red Rose Captain's Eyepatch, Ravishing Tanzanite Baguette and Akram Kingdom Set plus Critical Focus, I have 1843 critical rating, plus critical potion Critical rating is 2385, this is without cleric's buff.

This guide is best for Cave of Ulverick dungeon.

Note: Don't forget to wear bow first and buff Critical focus then wear fearless vengeance again.

Compare your critical hits to your other raider's friend, you will notice that you will often hit critical.

To each their own. But Feuers statement is correct. no Crit?

Personally I wouldnt follow this kind of build.

I didn't add much sen because based from my preference a cleric which has a good buff will make your critical 50%, thanks to Courage set which gives critical and accuracy too.

 

Understanding helps more*. 1,350 Crit rating [50% @ 250] is not enough to Crit 99% of the Bosses. And he doesn't have Katar Upper to lower Boss C.Def. 

Again, no crit.

Actually, considering me and Cotton go way back, we were both in Shira, and I played several hundred runs with him; possibly over a thousand, so I'd politely like for you to not be such a pain about me having a conversation with a friend. He knows I'm not interrogating him, I'm simply asking why he chose to not build crit. Lay off will you? Jesus christ.

Thank you so much for your critics/inputs, guide has now been updated, I created a separate guide for PvM Raider Katar Crit Type. Please let me know if I missed something so I can edit the guide and add your thoughts.

For thoese that want Self Buffs, you can skip the mspeed passive at common and get cloack to lvl [1]. Sen seems too high, altho high crit is nice with melee build. Personally I would spit some of that Sen into Str. Other than that, nice improvements.

Than p7 probably, than p10 probably not. But it really depends on your ratio of attack power/melee attack power and attack speed.

Probably? But you said "Also using 25 Dex 40 ap substats will give you more dps with melee hits than p7 will. " LOL

Overall 25 Dex/40 AP> p7 for katar raider.
