The reason is there are no guilds fighting, just a few straggler sinxs and people popping on at the end to claim their free castle. There's a couple of guilds that defend but they only get attacked by lone sinxs and maybe only one or two per WoE. It just seems to make sense to shorten the woe.
Reduce Classic WoE 1.0 to one hour only

Or you can just log in last 10 mins. That's what I do in Chaos now too if I ever feel like coming at all for trash loots lol
