Suggetions : Party exp & Exp Couple Increase

It was suggested in different parts of the forum before, so thanks for that initial idea, i thought i make it a little bit more concrete.

 

General the idea behind the suggestion:

  • increase motivation to build general bigger partys
  • increase the motivation to have bigger hunting/kill partys
  • keep leeching one charater by another as effective as it is, but since its used regular dont nerf it, dont buff it
  • increase the useage/motivation of Barde/Dancer Couple skill Mental Sensing (Alt: Mr. Kim A Rich Man / EXP Song) to encourage the use of more bigger party setups

Mental Sensing Increase

 

The current EXP increase is by level of Mental Sensing:

  1. +36% EXP
  2. +47% EXP
  3. +58% EXP
  4. +69% EXP
  5. +80% EXP

Suggested EXP increase by level of Mental Sensing

 

  1. +50% EXP   (39% increase to before)
  2. +70% EXP (49% increase to before)
  3. +90% EXP (55% increase to before)
  4. +110% EXP (59% increase to before)
  5. +150% EXP (88% increase to before)

This would give a slight overall buff to this Skill ,while maintaing a somewhat reasonable level in comparission to the current EXP tables that got increased by quite a high amount. It increases the useage for inparty mobbers by quite a marging, since they often enough take a lot longer to complete (if any) , bounty missions, while taking a lot of the risk. By increase the exp couple the general base line of earned exp increases, slightly above the bounty missions, giving mobbers and the party overall a more linear exp gain.

  12. 27% EXP // 324% total

Suggestedd EXP share in party py persons

  2. 60% EXP // 120% total //  0% increase
  3. 55% EXP // 165% total // 17% increase
  4. 55% EXP // 220% total // 37% increase
  5. 55% EXP // 275% total // 53% increase
  6. 50% EXP // 300% total //  52% increase
  7. 50% EXP // 350% total //  61% increase
  8. 50% EXP // 400% total // 66% increase
  9. 45% EXP // 405% total //  55% increase
  10. 45% EXP // 450% total //  60% increase
  11. 45% EXP // 495% total //  66% increase
  12. 45% EXP // 540% total // 66% increase

This woul leave leeching of one char overall as it is, while it does alow to leech more chars at once without to much punishment it allows for less punishing moving partys, that move together in a pack.

Right now with the current party exp, its far less attractive to get a strong compesition, that can walk together than to have 12 persons playing solo and killing monsters all over the place, since everyone else gets "dead weight" . This way it easy manageable to have moving killers,mobbers and suppors without loosing "killcount" instead monsters can be brought down in a more efficient way, that needs one thing : party play and a good team.

 

 

In General Mental Sensing can be buffed without to much of a risk to encourage party plays more.

Increasing party exp is more risky out of a desing perspective and heavily depends on the assumption that people are a lot more willing to play together if they dont loose to much/anyting compared to playing alone.

I like the idea of buffing mental sensing since it would require more party playing.

 

I dislike the idea of increasing party share exp since it buffes this imho stupig knight+leech parties.
