Five years have gone by so quickly! Whether you're a long-time player or have joined us just recently, we would like to thank you for being a part of our wonderful community!

 

We have been busy working on some great updates this year, and we're so happy to announce that our Anniversary Event will include the first phase of a new system we're very excited about!

 

 

Cute Pet System: Introduction

 

The Kafra Service and Professor Yggdrasil have been hard at work finding a way to summon monsters to your side, not to assist in battle, but to be your steadfast companion. We are proud to announce that the first phase of the Cute Pet System is ready just in time for our 5th Anniversary Celebration!

 

Collect DNA, create and incubate Pet Eggs, and make a friend that will provide you with a buff and follow you all day long!

 

As a special reward for trying the Cute Pet System during our 5th Anniversary Event, we have created a 5th Anniversary Moonlight Flower cute pet with a special buff and unique aura. This pet will only be available during the 5th Anniversary Event!

Fantastic Five

 

Our Anniversary quest begins with a request from the Mailbox in Prontera outside of the Auction House. The Fantastic Five quest will direct you to Nurse Bliss who is located in the Center Circle of Prontera.

The Very Best (Prefix Title)

HP +400

Attack Power + 200

Magic Power + 200

Defense + 100

 

The Very Best title is earned upon completing the 5th Anniversary Event quest chain.

 

Monster Collector (Suffix Title)

 

HP + 1000

Defense + 150

Vit + 200

Magic Attack + 200

Attack + 200

 

The Monster Collector title can be purchased from Nurse Bliss for 100 event tokens. 

 

 

Are you ready to hunt an Enraged Moonlight Flower!? You better bring a party!

 

Enraged Moonlight Flower will be spawning in the South Plains, Maple Forest, and Sograt Desert! This special boss will provide EVERYONE in the party with personal loot consisting of Unhatched Moonlight Flower Egg, 15x Shiny 5th Anniversary Badges, or Hatched Moonlight Flower Egg. 

 

To make the most of this boss, join a group to battle it. Enraged Moonlight Flower will respawn every 3 hours.

Share Ragnarok 2 and win prizes for the entire server! Throughout the Anniversary Month we'll provide you ways to connect with RO2 and unlock tiers toward rewards for everyone!

A Happy Hour Event to kick off our 5th Anniversary Celebration and to honor Dark Poring, our Chubby Bunny winner!

 

Happy Hour Boxes drop four times a day:

02:00-03:00
08:00-09:00
14:00-15:00
20:00-21:00
 
Players have a chance to get an additional box drop during this time by farming monsters within a five level range of the player that will randomly pop out a useful item.

Interesting. Were there multiple parties attacking the boss, or just yours? We'll look into this. The drop system is new so we'll try to work out the kinks. 

I dunno if it's just me or if other people are having it either but the pet system is definitely being buggy for me
I put the egg in the incubator for the quest, and immediately it still said "no egg available!" after I hit okay, i had to go farm more dna to try it again and after the 3rd time its working now that i logged out and back in. hopefully its something you guys will be able to fix if others are having the same issue?
I know, i should put a support ticket in but i figured why not post in the forums since id probably get a bit of a faster response here lol

Hello Admin

my client always force close when click start game into character list, i don't know what happen, but when update launcher occurs "Can't connect to patch file" but progress still running until 100%.

after this update i cant run my lunsher. i tried to reinstall it so many times but i cant run it still it says file corrupted during the patch update

I am sorry about this issue you have experienced.

I honestly had the same problem this morning but I resolved it by reinstalling the game. There might be various problems why the game is crashing, for example if you've edited any .vdk file such as the UI.vdk one. Whenever you run an update, you better replace those edited .vdk files with the original ones.

can i suggest for next update or maintenance?

1. Card set effect (can u make like the first time? i mean it can get double set effect when use double card. its helpfull for newbie or when grind to lvl up)
2. update class (maybe u can make update later for wizz,sorc,ranger,monk,rouge,warriior class)

3. make an update about WoE or PvP (we've seen now too quiet XD)
4. delete niflheim design (we've been waiting 2 years for it XD haha hope theres update XD)

too much wanna talk about update hahaha ive been 4 years playing this game please make this game great again!!! XD hahaha

I'll be sure to do so! And thanks for the reply. Open communication about problems is always key to making sure they get solved. I'm glad that it's being worked on, I assumed it would be at some point and since that it's a new mechanic there's bound to be bugs that come along with it, so i dont think anyone is too upset, i know for sure im not. <3 have a good day~~

Here are some things that we experienced yesterday:

 

1. For some reason after defeating Enraged Moonlight Flower, its loot just pop on some raid members while most of us doesn't received anything. The glittering light (loot sign on monster's corpse) is there but once you tried looting it the light just disappears.

 

2. I have not yet hatched an egg but there is a random pet that I can summon. People say that they tried hatching eggs but failed, have not tried it yet though.

 

3. I don't know if CRB drop rates has been nerfed but the amount we can farm is really low compare to the past HHB. (It became 20% drop rate compare to the last HHB)

 

4. Tokki is still there. The event should end on April right?

 

5. Bug quest on daily quests for the 5th anniversary tokens.

it's not working when my character die. It's not even visible on the Death Time Window. even though I have it in my bag.

WOW! so much time to hunt.. i suggest to change EMF to other monster.. at least once a week after MT or for 2 weeks..
