Uploading/Linking Avatar Images

This has been an issue for a while, kinda surprised it's not been corrected.

When changing your Forum Avatar, the uploader when linking from a URL is EXTREMELY laggy, and almost never works, you have to repeatedly attempt the link many times until it eventually works.

As far as the actual image upload from your person files, it's flat out busted and hasn't worked for months.

We have reported the issue to the staff before, as far as I can tell, upload file option is disabled and is intended.

The URL linking option however has been behaving as you kindly described, it may take anywhere between 5 minutes to 10 to get a profile image updated.

Trying other kinds of browsers did not help, the option works but the image update is extremely delayed.

I will check with them again later in the day.

Small update:

The issue with uploading avatar and lag is being looked into, it will require a software update. I have not been provided with an ETA.

Gravatar is the last properly working option for now as it seems.
