Slaughter Level 1 on KVM Weapon

I did do a search and there were similar topics. Sorry if this question had been answered before.

 

Is slaugther level 1 a passive skill? I do not see a new icon pop up in the skill tree as I equip KVM weapon.

 

Does the attack bonus really cap at +14 if so I guess I won't attempt to upgrade it to +15.

Slaughter is a built in refine bonus like bxb bonus it says on weap effect only works till +14 never made a KVM over 14 so cant say

It caps at +14, aka 100% Demi Human damage.

Slaughter is a built in refine bonus like bxb bonus it says on weap effect only works till +14 never made a KVM over 14 so cant say


over +14 do not give more bonus on slaughter, but will get a bit more dmg due to increase ATK/MATK on weapon per refine

n upgraded weapon will get the following bonuses (for conciseness, only ATK is written):

  • Level 1 - Every +1 upgrade gives 2 ATK, 0~3 ATK for every Over Upgrade pass the +7 Safety Limit, and 12 ATK for every High Upgrade pass +15.
  • Level 2 - Every +1 upgrade gives 3 ATK, 0~5 ATK for every Over Upgrade pass the +6 Safety Limit, and 24 ATK for every High Upgrade pass +15.
  • Level 3 - Every +1 upgrade gives 5 ATK, 0~8 ATK for every Over Upgrade pass the +5 Safety Limit, and 36 ATK for every High Upgrade pass +15.
  • Level 4 - Every +1 upgrade gives 7 ATK, 0~14 ATK for every Over Upgrade pass the +4 Safety Limit, and 48 ATK for every High Upgrade pass +15.

Just to add to Yange, if you are using a ranged weapon you do not get that bonus, at least that I am aware of. It should work more like over upgrade variance 0~14 but because I have never had a +16 level 4 weapon I could never tell you for sure.

I seem to recall something about upgrades past +15 giving (weapon level * refine) Atk+MAtk, but don't quote me on that. And by refine I mean the Atk you normally get from a refine, so 7 for a level 4 weapon. Can't find the thread that was mentioned in either.

Yeah and 121% Demi Human damage for slaughter level 2 - Glorious Claymore.

I wonder if this mechanism is applied to IRO as well.
For overupgrade bonus. It still be the same until +20. 3,5,8,14 Atk/Matk (level 1-4).
For refine bonus. 2,3,5,7 Atk/Matk until +15 (level 1-4).
When reach +16 This bonus has been increased significantly. 18, 35, 37, 55 Atk/Matk (level 1-4).
Refine bonus for 17-20 have been increased slightly. 3,5,7,10 Atk/Matk (level 1-4).
So when reach +20. Total refine bonus will be 60,100,140,200 Atk/Matk (level 1-4).

Could you explain a bit more here, Sigma? I'm having some difficulty understanding what you're saying, specifically for the last 3 lines when you mention +16 and higher.

 

I haven't personally had any gear beyond +15, so I'm unsure what goes on, but the bonus from +16 is supposed to be 12 ATK/mATK per weapon level per refine (so 48 for level 4).

That extra ATK is definitely enticing but then from +15 to +16 with only 15% chance of success is a lot to gamble

Do we have a Refine NPC on Sakray? they should increase the NPC refine limit up to +20 so we can test, last thing i remember, it refines up to +14 or +15? idk

Wait so there is a big bonus of 55 ATK from 15 to 16 but only 10 ATK per refine from 16 to 20?

So should just stop at 16 and anything beyond is not worth?

Ah, so the rule completely breaks going from +15 to +16 and then turns into a new rule going from +16 to +17. Weiiiird. In that case your description was perfectly fine. Thanks, Sigma. 

 

Well, if anyone here has a weapon refined to +16 or higher, perhaps they can chime in. I've seen multiple ones for vend, so presumably someone can.

I do have a 16 imperial spear (level 3 weapon) I can equip on my RG to check how much ATK bonus later

yep can confirm, +15 to +16 atk bonus is > than +16 to +17

 

we thought it was a bug, or one of those bonuses not shown on the status window

Not to be a debbie-downer, but if you wouldn't mind posting a screenshot of your alt+q (can blur out stuff you don't want to how) with only the weapon equipped and no other eATK (so the number on the right is only from the weapon) will help a lot.

 

If this is accurate, then lol @ structuring the last few refines so that you end up with a nice round total at +20.

im digging my old convo with my friend, on a crimson mace +16 gave 34 atk, +17 gave another 7 atk

 

lemme look for a screenie, gimme some time cause im one of those that got banned with the whole gdpr thing lmao

If above is confirmed then really 16 is the sweet spot and anything beyond is not worth it unless they modify the refine system to give additional bonus
