Aloha Guys,
I would like to share my thoughts on how I solo WL in Bio5 dungeon using Celine & Survivor Set. I've been receiving personal messages in game, telling me that I should make a guide here on forums so they can keep up on what I was doing. I do apologize if some of you haven't I responded, please do not feel that I am ignoring you. I would respond once I am in game. Anyways, so here I am. I hope that this guide would help your adventure to solo bio5 and kill it! This would take time and practice on getting used to it, so be patient and you'll reap the reward.
First, I would like to share what's on my hotkeys. You need to be familiar on which keys to press. Sometimes, its confusing coz' there's a lot of skills to use on different type or property of each monsters, and especially when you get mob like 3-5 monsters and like you don't know which of them to kill first and what skill to use. It's normal to panic, use of senti frags and even bwing yourself out of the dungeon coz you're not confident enough to face and kill them. But let me tell you, once you nailed it then you're in complete control, "God mode on". You can't be a better warlock if you don't feel the pain, pressure or in a tight situation. Coz' that's what makes you better! Let em' come and show em' what you got! Anyways, here's what my hotkeys looks like.
(Unequipped Gears)
As, you can see it's organized. I have my skills ready to use, gears for switching, consumables for survivability and to boost your magical damage. This is the basic thing you need to learn. Familiarize with your own hotkeys setup so you'll know what to do and won't mess up.
Secondly, is making use of consumables like Increase HP Pots, Celermine Juice, Brisket, Vitata 500, Pretzels, Berserk Pots, Proof Pots, Green Pots, Trans Candies, Yggseeds and lastly ODA. You gotta use all of these to survive and deal high damage to bio5 monsters. Having 55k-60k hp pool will help you survive longer. Like in an hour, you'll spend like 15-20 each consumables, so make sure you bring all of em.
Additional Note: I don't use hp pots on my bio5 run. I mostly rely on Drain Life to get full hp. However, you may bring hp/sp pots or any other consumables when needed.
Thirdly, is having the right set of gears to kill and survive in the dungeon. I would say the Survivor & Celine Set is a good balance for WL. Though some of you may disagree with me, coz you're a waterball (lacryma/pororoca) user. Anyways, I find the set easier to use. Below are the recommended gears:
Normal
+9 or higher Celine Ribbon (Engkanto/Tikbalang). It doesn't really matter what enchant, but having spell enchant is a +++
BDM/BFG/Sunnies (Engkanto)
Survivor's Orb
+11 or higher Flattery Robe int4, int5, int6 (Angeling) (Pasana - To survive Celia's PWave and Seyren's IB)
+10 or higher Survivor Rod (Zakudam - For Demi Human) (Hell Apocalypse - For Demon)
+12 MBS (Alice) - Mainly your default shield
+8 Anemos (Alice) - For Performers and Cecil
+9 or higher Cloak of Survival (Antique/Arc Elder)
Celine Brooch (Elvira)
Magician Gloves/PDM (Elvira)
Shadow
+9 or higher Magical Set
+9 or higher Spellflow Set
Costumes
Upper - Matk + 1%
Mid - Matk + 1%
Lower - Sp Recovery 1
Garment - Atk Speed 1
Additional Notes: Liberation Set does not help increase your magical damage. It only applies to physical damage. Also, if you do have your own recommendation gears, then please let me know.
Fourth, is distributing skill points. A few people have questioned me that "How come I have TV and Comet? What skill/s did you sacrifice? ". The answer is, I gave up my Intensification but why?. I mean, don't get me wrong I do love Intensification but then decided to try out a different skill tree which works perfectly for me.The main skill that I use as of now is JT (Jupitel Thunder). This will be your main dps in bio5. Also, this works in MVP too! I always used JT when mvping, instances like ET, FW, Sky Fortress, Bijou, GMT, and etc. Here's a screenshot of my 1st-3rd skill tree.
Lastly, is execution. Below are the skills to use on every bio5 monsters:
JT/CL - Eremes, Gertie, Seyren, Flamel, Chen, Howard, KK and Celia (Spam JT and when the buff procs, use CL especially to those monsters that max pain! >_< )
TV/ES/HD - Cecil and Peformers (2x ES and 1x HD will do to kill em), Make a habit of reading your spellbook 1-3 times (ES) after casting it so you can use it again.
HI/Comet - Randel/Margaretha
SW/Quagmire - Always use it! Very helpful.
Ganbantien - To clear Gertie's poison and Flamel's fire thingy.
Drain life - need to use this to get full hp
White Imprison - when mobs are about to rape you, use it then senti frags
No to Energy Coat - Will deplete your sp real fast.
Additional Note: You may use different skills that I mentioned above. Feel free to experiment on what skills are good and bad.
There you have it y'all. I hope this guide will help your bio5 experience way fun and challenging. I may missed some of the good points and details, so please let me know so I can add it up. Let me know if you have any questions.
Mahalo,
UPDATE 8/4
