[Creative Contest] Ragnarok's Got Talent 2018!

Have you heard of the story
About that monstrous creature living in Thor dungeon?
It is fearsome,
A true nightmare to any adventurer.

Have you wondered its existence?
Let me tell you a story of the one man,
Named Ifrit.
.
There were a boy and a girl living in a tranquil village.
He loves her.
They had been friends since childhood
They were destined for each other
And everyone thought so.
.
On the day of their wedding,
He swore his burning love for her
His heart that only beats for her
His eyes that only shine for her

Till death do us part.

.
"Will you marry me?"
He put into her finger the golden ring
Carved in an ocean colored sapphire
Just like her, calm and gentle.
A garnet on his ring,
Filled with essence of fire,

That was created by the flame lord.
The rings were said
To resonate and protect their wearers,
Bring upon the magic never been seen.
.
And they lived happily ever after.

.
Til the marauders from nowhere drew near,
Their thirst for destruction and catastrophe
Brought every land uninhabitable.
They came to his village,
Burnt down all the houses
Took the cattle,
Slayed all the men,

Enslaved the children

And the women.

.
His wife was no exception.

.
To protect her,
Ifrit wielded the sword
It was to no avail
They were armed and many.
No matter how hard he fought
They outnumbered the villagers.

He got stabbed from countless knives

.
He started to lose his sense
His view became blurry
He couldn't hear anything except his wife screaming
Seeking for mercy,

Calling his name,

Ifrit

Ifrit

The marauders left behind the burning village.

.
Should I give up?
Should I leave the love of my life to them?
He tried to gather all the strength he could
Grabbed the sword one more time,
And dashed towards the bandits.

He killed them,

One by one.

His hands

Covered by their blood

And also his blood.

But there were too many.

.
Eventually, he was surrounded.
He wielded the sword aimlessly,
He no longer could keep his consciousness
And one stabbed him from behind.
Blood flooded out,
He collapsed the last time

His eyes still looked at his wife

His hand tried to reach her

He grabbed her hand by all his force,

But only could hold the ring.

.

The village in flames,

Fire reached him

It started consuming him
He heard his wife screaming
But the scream soon vanished

Only the echo left.

.
He told himself to stand up
My arms, my legs please move,
I need to rescue my wife,
I need to stand up.
Not for one moment,
Did He stop fighting.

The torment kept flaming,

The will kept burning.
To the very last breath.
.

He died soon after with his eyes wide open,
The agony remained on his face.
And the fire soon surrounded him,

Devouring the man slowly.

It was then shining like the sun

The rings awoke their power,

Protecting the man’s soul from the flames

Reincarnating him back to life.

He is no longer a mere human
His skin blood red and his hair blazes fire.

His body can't survive but the will never die.
The flames circling him can’t be extinguished
Incinerate anything getting close.

He is no longer a mere human,
But his burning love for her stayed.
And his loathing against the humans
The vengeance that will never die.
His will moulded into a fierce kasa,

His wrath shaped the life of a salamander.
On his way to take back his love,
And sought revenge for his past life.

For now in Asgard
Far to the southern part,

Near the canyon village, Veins
You will see the faraway volcanic areas
Where the lovesick man
But now a demon resides
Endless days and nights, finding his love

Killing innocent adventurers

He recognizes as the old bandits

Legend has it that,

Thor fought a fierce battle

Against evil spirits and demons,

His force was such

Splitting the ground

Leaving the earth wounded

Shedding burning blood

That is now called,

Thor volcano.

The mighty god trapped them inside,

Where stay Ifrit and fearsome creatures.

But the fire raised them stronger

Turned it a true living hell.

I must warn you,
Though Ifrit’s love is still
His humanity was sacrificed
His body is no longer of a human
A formless monster you may describe
He will destroy anything within his sight
Every step he takes turns into fire pillars
If you sense the ground shaking
Landslides and earthquakes approaching
Run as fast as you can, adventurer.

In the middle of busy cities of midgard,

There’s a place that hasn’t been discovered by most people,

This place is not as popular as Juno, Geffen or Prontera but it is one of the places that people should be looked out for,

And the reason is? … The Legendary Tree Beneath that town~

I heard once there was an innocent ninja travelling across midgard,

She was one of the loveliest ninja that you could ever meet but not as strong as any other gal ninja in that town. She is really lovely and does her best whenever she is on training.

One day while she is on her journey to train on orcs, she was out of stones. Magical stones in order for her to cast her magic. They are really important so she decided to stop over to amatsu~ This is the land where strong ninjas are competing with each other. An elite town for ninja you mean. She was really mesmerized not only to the place. One thing hit her was this person. This person was so different from the other classes. He’s in brownish pink clothes with white spiky hair. She asked him “Hello there, do you happen to know where to buy magical stones?” The boy smirked, with a low toned voice “Yea just go straight there and when u see a wooden door that’s it”. The ninja thanked the boy with such graceful smile and while she walks away from the boy, he gave a sweet smile.

While the ninja was on her way to go back to training, the boy stopped him.

Boy: Hey there, do you want to be strong? Do you want to explore and see what real power is?

She was really shocked on this note, she did not know how to respond to him. She was lost, she wants to see it, she wants resolve, she wants to know it but she hesitated. He just met the boy, how come she can trust him? She did say no to him but the boy was really eager to show her the true meaning of power. At the end of the day, she agreed.

They started their adventure on rockridge. They haunt some buffalos to get the right and left badge. After beating all those buffalos they went straight to hazy forest. The ninja tried to kill the spiders. OHHH, they are tough, ninja said. She told the boy afterwards “Maybe we can’t do this, I’m too weak for them. We will just die together in the end I swear”. The boy insisted and told the girl “No!, I know you can do this. I’m here to support you. I said that I will show you the real meaning of power right?Don’t doubt yourself. If you can’t take all the pain, I’ll be your shield and take all of it from you. I’ll be here don’t worry”. The girl’s eyes shined as she casting magic on the spiders. The boy casted buffs and heals the girl. She was shocked. She did not know how she stayed alive then the boy told all his secret to her.

Boy: As you can see, I’m an archbishop. If you die, I’ll be here for you to save you. Maybe you will die in few minutes but I will resurrect you.

The girl was really surprised. Then they continued to find the wandering purple dragon. They went in deeper and deeper wandering in the forest till they find the dragon. It was a success!

Boy: I told you, believe in yourself. It’s not about the gear you wear. It’s not about how powerful your weapon is. The real power is in you. If you believe you can do it, I’ll bet my life. You can do it!…

They have been conquered the land of Kraken and even Gopinich. Landed on Boitata sewer as well as Fallen Bishop’s lair. They started to explore every place that can ever go in Midgard. The boy showed him all the pretty places that no one could ever think of. Then one of those days the boy told something to the ninja.

Boy: I know you think of me as your friend only but it’s not the same. I never thought that I would see you more than what you think of me. Everyday I’m with you, it makes me want to protect you more. I could die for you. Will you marry me?

He told this as he made a heart shape safetywall and sanctuary. The girl ninja was really teared up. She can’t say anything. On her last sigh she whispered yes in a very sweet voice.

The boy was really happy. He can’t express how happy he is feeling at that very moment. In few days they got married and continued to explore things out of Midgard.

The time has come. They were both scared. They knew this is the time they needed to part. The boy did show the girl what she really wanted to see at the first place. It’s done. The boy needs to go explore on his own this time as he is to be entitled as an archbishop. He needs to help more people. At this very instant both of them talks in a very soft voice with teared eyes. They were on the legendary tree in the center where they 1st met in Amatsu.

Boy: It’s not my intention to hurt you. I know you understand my situation and I promised that I will die for you and get all the pain your are feeling but I’m sorry. I broke it all, no I would not want to break it. Not yet, I will be back. I need you. I want to hear that you will wait for me. I wanna hear that you truly love me. I swear to this tree that I will be back for you.

Girl: I know. I understand the circumstances. At the 1st place, I did not deserve all the efforts you have exerted for me. But still, I will always wait you even if it takes forever. I will wait you here. This tree is the witness of our endless vows. Even this tree cut down, all the memories and love we feel were already planted on this place. I will wait you…

They both cried together and as the boy walks away slowly from her, the girl murmured in a sweet little voice “I love you… I’ll be waiting you… ”

Beneath that legendary tree, all those days they spent together was implanted. No wonder Amatsu was so popular in that name. All those started in Amatsu~ The Land of Destiny.

but unfortunately not all tales end this way.

In times of old, there were two dear friends,

the first of which, was obsessed with tiki

he and his friend were an unstoppable team

banning characters who acted rather freaky

his smile would beam

All would behold his infectious smile
