Drop rate Version 3

Someone said that Drop rate buffs(Thief potion,Statue,Midgard,Costume) are only for equipments. Is it true?

Sometimes I wonder where these conspiracy theories all come from. So first off, this is simply just not true. You'll see a noticeable difference if you're farming Happy Hour Boxes with and without drop rate buffs. I am assuming people think this is happening because it's far more apparent that there's a difference when dealing with high drop rate items which equipment tends to be a part of (for certain maps at least).

For example, let's say you have a 50% increase in drop rate:
An item with a base drop rate of 1% would only increase to 1.5%. The additional 0.5% is very small and barely noticeable.
An item with a base drop rate of 50% would increase to 75%. An additional 25% becomes very noticeable. 

Does this make sense?
