Pumping the Breaks on Zeny Generation

The issue with duping will not go away unless it's being taken off completely & no one is able to further dupe items in-game (I doubt that will be easy or possible atm). Thus, disabling some items sold to NPC to convert zeny (pure in-game farmer) is not the best solution you guys made.  

Do you guys honestly believe they will no longer dupe items from the list you guys just gave after this?  

At this point of time, I honestly don't see the issue is solved & inflation will go up or down little by little.

Yeah! We only read one of the four changes.

Major offender here is Four Leaf Clover. It amounts to about 30% of investment returns iirc, will need a re-calc. I'd suggest increasing rates of Poison Bottles and/or food materials as compensation.

I will not be happy unless you elaborate the point 3 and 4 method. We will try to evaluate the effectiveness.

making those clovers not sellable will only yield to high inflation prices on those investment items such as consumables

Really, do you have to do this? Why not just make raffler permanent??

At least give us time, not all of a sudden. We have worked to do and we can only play during weekends/ rest day.

I'm fine with 3/4 but these are just preventive measures. Need to evaluate on the return of these items for investment tickets. 

Being able to trade for Treasure Box which are pretty much autobuy doesn't really solve the problem. Yes, we get easier access to pot brewing times, but dupers can still get zeny by selling it to vend store players, and get legit zeny while they are at it. Especially at the rate slims are being drink right now and how often slims are out of stock.

 

I hope ren can share their view on this matter.

 

The main point is still the duping.

 

These are just smaller patches to deal with smaller holes while the biggest hole is still left leaking.

Time to sell those looted bullions ets. from OGH then.

 

Anyway, am I the only one wondering why the gold bullion sells less then Silver Bullion?

What is OGH? Is it a place where people farm to get rich?   

 

People don't need to be rich to have fun, or use mega OP equips, but you need some zeny for survive and obtain decent gears, and this place can help people who don't have much zeny. Not all people can run Solo OGH every day with 3 or more alts, and farm a lot of Coagulated Spells, Temporal Crystal, OCA, etc... so the gold bullion, silver, colorful brooch, etc. gives a good extra zeny for those people.

Why cant u trace acc selling dupe to npc like how u trace illegal zeny flows and banned acc here and there from involving in illegal zeny? Just asking

Some players are starting to slowly accumulate zenny by selling loots from instances. OGH is one of them and the loots help them gain zenny legally as reward of their hardwork. Please don't take it away from them. Not being able to sell those listed loots would have a huge impact on their zenny flow. I have seen hardworking players do instances faithfully and reaping these loots is what keeps their drive. Make these loots banned from selling to npcs and some of them will lose their motivation.

I just started make my own zeny on OGH and now... Bah, never mind, I'm always be a poor latin in this game anyway, where I need to spend 4x more real money to have the same itens then others rsrs

wow you guys made my day lol...I invite gms do for example ogh to get some of those items and see how many BILLIONS of zeny they will get per day.

If you really "want to reduce the zeny inflation" spend time and track all zeny deals, mainly during the EU ban and there is your "zeny inflation".

With this you only will make regular player cant farm the enough zeny just for supplies andthe "inflation" will continue because thanst not the main reason...actually that is far away to be a reason for zeny inflation.

There's many other usefull way to regulate inflation like OCP remix...add items people are overpricing, carefully track every deal, woe event (with rasonable discounts), etc.

it's because they just can't track it. those dupes probably have their unique id code just like this in ragial

Honestly if the hackers are doing dupes and its easy for them to do, they can still easily dupe items worth 10k or so, in multiple stashes. It still results in an approx 370M zenny per stack of 30K items sold to NPC using overcharge. Now imagine they had a few number of items that they can dupe each time, there will still be a huge amount of zeny flowing in. 

 

Basically you just made their job more tedious but the root problem isn't solved. If they can dupe- and it depends on how easily they do it, this won't solve the zenny flowing in, but only slows it down depending on how much effort the hacker's willing to put in. At the same time, legit players get affected quite badly by this move though.

 

If it is a short term measure while your team attempts to get the root of the problem and break the duping process, i completely support your move. However, please don't take too long, because its also a fight against player satisfaction while this is going on. In the end only the hacker wins if zenny becomes expensive, because he is more incentivized to dupe the cheap 10k items as i mentioned above, given that zenny becomes more valuable to players who lost a means to acquire them legitly while hackers basically still have their unlimited source (albeit at a lower tap rate).
