thinking of trying spellfist build any tips?

I never played a magic based class but lately I'm curious about spell fist build.

 

How is this build in the current meta?

 

Is it tough to lvl?

 

are there still aoe spells I can use to help with the mobs?

 

Is the gear expensive or hard to obtain in the current state of the game?

Niche build, but as long its fun / piqued your interest then go for it

 

Is it tough to lvl?

 

tougher and slower to level spellfist build if compared to its caster counterpart, since your skill tree would rely on single target skills (you can invest in aoe autocast gears to level)

 

or going caster routes early until maxed your level, then reset and switch to spellfist later on

 

are there still aoe spells I can use to help with the mobs?

 

you can take hybrid caster / spellfister route, but might be less effective

 

or rely on autocast gears aoe such as book of sungod meteor storm, lunar rainbow combo, kind heart & hurt mind combo, celine brooch & evil spirit gloves combo (eg & vs), etc

 

Is the gear expensive or hard to obtain in the current state of the game?

 

to sum it up

every gears / equipment that boost bolt skill damage (fire/cold/lightning)

e.g siroma card (cold bolt), imp card (fire bolt), magical ring from ocp, elemental magic boosting equipments (nam card for fire bolt garment, leviathan muffler for lightning bolt garment)

magician night cap community headgears

elemental origin book from rockridge mobs

any build can have either a ultra budget or ultra expensive variation, it's up to how much you want to invest into it
