Update Merry Badger...a bit more please.

To include vicious mind weapons please. I remember a time when faceworm skins were not a part of MB, and people just threw them all over the ground. IMO vicious mind weapons are of the same category:
- You either keep/sell the really legit enchants, or drop them on the ground.
- They're pointless to keep since you have to be 160 to equip them anyway. 
- It would give the marketplace a nice flow-boost since so many people are farming it now.
- For those whose main source of income Sky Fortress is, this would help them gain a bit of extra Z for their purple-EQ dodging troubles.

And for the record, i dont farm sky fortress consistently enough for that to be my reasoning to make this thread (maybe once or twice a year i'll hop on it for a few rounds, but if i'm going to climb stairs then im climbing the bigger staircase lol). I just always think to myself every time im turning in faceworm skins how awesome it would be if people could actively utilize the vicious mind weapons too.

The more stuff they add in to turn in for badges, the more expensive the badge items will become, in response to the more easily avaiable source of badges, and the worse will it feel for those that cannot participate in that super badge rewarding content :T

sounds like spend 25emb for 3 hours tix then proceed to farm vicious for more emb in return, yep i doubt it's going to happen XD

maybe they can add trade in for 1 ygg leaf to 1 emb because apparently 1 emb can be traded for 1 ygg leaf ~

oh hmm i forgot about the 3 hour ticket. faceworm doesnt offer that so it isnt really a problem with the garbs.

it really has been a long time lol. ok, how about raising the cost of the 3hr ticket along with it to shun that way of thinking out?

and to figure that out...

- what's the average turnout for weapons if you try to hit up most locked rooms without gum for one run?
- what's the average turnout for weapons if you try to hit up most locked rooms with gum for one run?
- if you're going hardcore, what's the average number of runs you can do in on 3hr setting?

you could maybe set the EMB cost a little higher than the average turnout per run without gum (so the cost falls somewhere in between gum & non-gum'd wep-drop rates) and multiple that by the amount of average runs a person can do in one run? so if you get [10 weapons per run non-gummed] and [20 weapons per run gummed], then maybe set the cost of emb to 15. then, if a person can do say 10 runs in 3 hours, multiple the emb cost (15) by the amount of average runs (10) and put out 150 badges instead of 25. this way, your turnout for EMB-return would be much trickier?

You can steal VM weapons so I don't agree with this suggestion. I'd rather people didn't trade in (good) weapons that they deem useless as well, though I guess they drop them instead as it is.

steal? as in using the skill "Steal"?

Yes. Though they come without enchants when you do so.

Could go the boxter route, make it so you can turn in 2 (or howeverman) of each weapon type to randomly create another with full enchants. 

 

Not sure how abusable that would be, but you can adjust how many you have to recycle to counter it. They're not worth any zeny anyway, so might as well do something than just litter/poring food.

I'd like to see this happen, if it is at all possible. VM weapons are actually some of the most powerful weapons in-game with the right combination of enchants. The only issue is that those combination of enchants are so rare, that even after all of this time there have been very few of them on the market.

 

P.S: I'm not sure feeding sharp things to Porings is such a good idea. What if an unsuspecting Novice steps on one and has their foot imapled by it??

this is an interesting add on concept. the boxter route would definitely counter that as you could do 2:1 or even 3:1 rates, and you wouldn't have to mess with the EMB requirements for SF tickets either.

Yeah, my same thoughts, and it would effectively give you an extra chance to get some weapons that aren't poop. 
 
I imagine you'd get same weapon of each type -- so you turn in 2 katars, get 1 katar back. There'd be no intelligent stacking "this has atk enchant so you get atk enchant" or anything like that, it'd just be as if a monster got killed with a guaranteed drop so the enchants are on. 
 
I would keep the weapon types the same instead of letting any weapon type be recycle for any other (so 2 fists -> random weapon would be no go because of the randomness, at least by controlling what you feed you can control what you get). 
 
If it is too farmable/abusable, then up the number needed to feed.
