looks like they won't launch it to OBT.. as you can see in the official  Ro2 PH page, there's no news about it.

and without any updates in official server that mean.. Nope.

Thank you and goodbye RO2! I will always have a soft spot for this game for personal reasons.

They still MT. Now it's finished and you can login (expected) but there's an issue about client version now.

So, as there's MT today, does that mean that there'll be regular events and the like? I ask because it certainly sounded like "we're not supporting the game any more" and last week's MT was going to be the last MT ever.

No one is know about that for sure. The only one knowing about it is GM or WP team. We can only reasonably thinking and guessing, thats all.

Idun didn't say anything about the last MT nor server is closing. So, until that (end of RO2) time is coming, let's just play to the fullest.

Niflheim is indeed Holiday Town. Check the concept art of Nilfheim here : http://www.playragna...ews/article/423 and compare it with Holiday Town. Everything is exactly the same. But the quest probably half baked and not complete and same of the area also locked (although you can bypass it anyway).

you can enter event map niflheim from clearing quest from east mjolnir to enter. and to get in the next phase u have to be a VCR   

and there's also another map like icarus highlands (that would count as 2 or 3 maps), dayr lava (same as icarus), pilanium dead mine dungeon (that is actually filled with monsters)..

that would be nice if they still developed on it..

You can't get to any of the other maps mentioned above in the version of the game we play.  Not even being a Volunteer Community Representative allows you to reach them.  The only way you can get to see those other maps is if you are a VCR and have access to the test server which has different builds and you've been granted GM access on that server.

It's blocked and I think it's for good reason. I can get there but it's not by normal walking, need to do this and that, then ... boom, you're there. I posted one of them on YouTube for scientific purpose (the mansion)

Though development has stopped, the game is still open and we will be doing occasional maintenances for the game.  These are expected to be short maintenance every two weeks to refresh the servers.

You kind of sidestepped the question, will there continue to be regular events held and rotated at maintenance?

Back to AOD Patch no more Master Level that make RO2 life again

If rotation events are still being done. isnt it good to still play? The only thing that does not work now are the updates not the main game. All games have final updates.

So dont let expectations ruin the fun of your game.

plenty of player already reach max lvl and they dnt know what they wanna do in game besides upgrading equips and do the same things everytime that make them feels bored and ofc with lack of player that's make no sense to keep stay, just like "oh hei! you again... and again.. and again..". i mostly enjoyed chatting in game, but since there's nothing i can do to keep the world chat alive longer, without someone making any drama, i just remember from 400+ my Friend list only 2 still alive in game and i even dnt know who they're and all guildmates already killed by times so, being alone is not good for health. i respect for those refiner and honer service still stay in morroc  

Edited : no matter how much new online game i play, i keep coming back to ro2. it's just not the right time to back for now.. Enjoy the game, Have fun, Be kind, Have worth, Have friends, Be honest, Laugh, find something precious, Make the most of it. It’s all we’ve to do so not to getting bored in game, and to find friends maybe.

After building my new desktop, I tried playing RO2 only for it to crash. It's strange because my previous desktop, which is nowhere near as powerful as this one, played it perfectly fine. So yesterday, I decided to try again. Same thing. Whatever I guess...
