WoE and Cloaking

Going back to the topic, I wonder why the other private servers are able to do balancing... if you will watch some RO YouTube videos, their WOEs have DIVERSE rules and over powering gears are not allowed making the war more of a skill base rather than equipment base... 

Shield Spell being available to all classes is not a big deal.
Just compare your damage before and after the buff, there is not a game changing difference since BIO5 & OCP gears already made every class' damage really high.

In the contrary, thanks to all of this damage % bonuses from the OCPS, makes the bonus more relevant than ever.

Stop talking about WOE if the participant only consist of 2 guild. I mean its already dead so face it.

Shield spell is nice addition to increase atk because everything increase attack in ocp has ridicioulous price around 2-4b which is unfeasible for new player or mid player.

If you fight cloacking player, you can just cast sight to detect them. Cased closed.

Huh? what is your point then? What I mean from my point of view is Shield Spell takes time to get what you want, what's the essence of your logic giving the RG its capabilities to choose the buffs they need? XD you're not making any sense or you should rephrase your words.
Yes it is not new ( we are all aware of that ), BUT the point here is, it is not EASY to get, you get my point ? Cloaking is available only via MVP EREMES or Frilldora which you can only use via walls, hello!?!? Ringing bells! the comparison between an MVP card with 0.01 drop rate vs to a gear you should upgrade past certain level.

I'm not talking about ROM in general, I'm only stating my observations since almost all of their updates are on that platform.

The point is Shield spell is a RG skill. It doesn’t matter if it takes time to get the right buff, only RG should be able to use it and no non-RG classes should be able to use Shield spell through item. What about Guard that people can also use it. You don’t seem to complain but it is totally not ok with non-thief classes use Cloaking.

MvP card with 0.01% drop rate vs OCP? Is this even new to be surprised? Samurai says hi!

Anyways, I wonder if people actually use this M. Muffler. It is a big trade off. Not to mention it is easy to counter Cloaking. To be honest, I don’t care if everyone use Guard or Shield spell. I just find it rude that you or anyone complains about non-thief classes using Cloaking.

The greatest drawback of cloaking is that it is only available to one of the most vulnerable class ingame, a class that cant wear a shield if one would even wish to kill another player ( switching? Lol edp) , cloaking helps mend it a bit. Now even tankiest nukes can use it so now what? Lol. Assassin cross card is fair enough since well i doubt everyone can have it but that ocp??

Dorams can PP you to kingdomecome while cloaking and srill wear a shield
RK can IB/CS/HS for all he cares with cloaking and still wear a shield (not to mention milleniumshield as well)

WL can spam CL/CR while cloaking and still wear a shield
Sorc can rip you to shred with VS and still wear a shield

For gx to wear a shield while cloaking? Ok but you have to edp first for switching into katar to kill other player (death sentence)

You dare mention CRS as preemptive strike to kill them before they kill you? Lol cloaking
You out dps their oneshot skills with rc so they cant react on time? Lol shield
You use sight to reveal them then CI? Lol youd be dead before you even get near (sacrifice your own cloaking)
You use menace to reveal them then CI? Their oneshot skills say no

The skill cloaking is a big deal lol you cant just case close it out of lack of interest in woe

What you saying sounds reasonable. I am gonna try WoE one of these days to see it since no one in Chaos ever makes a WoE video anymore. So I’m not sure how much it’s changed with this MM item.

But yes GX is kind of weak in a big WoE and that’s the point. Now try comparing Sura, Doram or EB RG (as well as VP/CS RG) to GX in PvM area. You will see why GX is and should be weak in WoE. Anyway, no one really cares about WoE and people don’t have to WoE. Loots are trash anyways even WoE is a lot harder to do than PvM.

Men! diversities has to be made to change the gameplay.. the points of this topic is not to hinder that kind of situation but rather to at least BALANCE everything out. You really didn't get the point of this subject matter.

 

Even if I were able to use the skills of other jobs, at least, give it a reasonable amount of standards. Like that of the shield spell.

When I do, my ranger in nolimit couldn't kill a single RK because he using full long range reduction and that effin gambler seal.

Long range reduction should be capped.
Demi human reduction also must be capped.
Max Damage Should be capped.
Certain cooldown skill must be increased.

Thats what we called balanced.

No, your contradictions is a little bit out of the context, you are directing the topic to a subject matter which can be classified as another point of issue.

 

Do I really need to explain? read the reply from the clever girl above and from someone pointed out the use of SS. You can pretty much get a lot of ideas from them.  Comparing Cloaking and Shield spell is like comparing an orange to an apple () but that is not the issue, the issue is actually why did the GMs allowed the use of such in WOE..

but honestly the game is clearly more imbalanced then. Now the contents are a joke to every class so it’s fair, but back then if you play anything outside a GX or gene and don’t have MVP cards, you are honestly wasting a lot of time.

The OVP gears are mostly great, but they could use a bit of less cash grab in them to make the game more playable in general, like putting some of them into game contents or events rather than all box only.

I am no longer WOE but triggered by some poster who ranting about shield spell.
Just leave the shield spell as now. As pvm player, shield spell increase quality of mvp, farming, and leveling.
