Hello All~

I have not played this game in just over a year and I dont remember the class(s) I was playing, I only know that I spent quite a bit of money on this game at that point and then got discouraged because I kept hearing how it was an unbearable Korean Grindfest later on. Does this still ring true? Has the game changed any in the past year that its become better or worse for the korean grind fest?

Just looking for a straight forward answer here before I reinstall the game that had me starry eyed with joy when I first started playing it.

Thanks guys!

More High level quests have been implemented but it's still a grindfest from 67+ on

Well that sir, is a shame. Are we talking like a month a level like I was hearing before? Also, have the graphics been tuned at all since a year ago or are they the exact same as they were before? Thanks for answering by the way!

The graphics are pretty much the same. And no, I wouldnt say 1 month per lvl except you are single target dps with not a lot of time maybe. Exp per mob in dungeons has been increased by a lot. As an aoe caster you should get pretty easily into the 70's. Of course it also depends on if you're willing to spend on premium/exp scrolls.

I think it is much easier to get to 69 than it was back in season 1.
70-71 is a tough level, and I think 71-72 is again. After that quests give about 40% with prem+scroll+pet each level usually...But 70-79 is the biggest grind fest of all (even with the quests). I think in comparison to season 1 lvl 67-71, I think it has improved somewhat... being that there are quests each level. And things give more exp...
But the whole 70 range is still a biotch and will take a long time. So it is still is a korean grind fest.

Levels 70+ are a grindfest for sure. Although there are more quests, actually all those are transfered to the 70+ region from S1 Numaren, the exp needed per level is so huge, that even if quests can cover like 40% you will have to grind the rest. And that is no easy business. Especially, since you just have ONE and only real place to get decent exp: JS (Jacob Shrine). And JS requires a party for most characters. Few can solo and even then progress is rather slow.

I find that Requiem is a game that requires quite a bit of patience to reach high levels, both before in S1 and now. And I guess the same will be in S3, if something like that is implemented. Despite all this however, I would not discourage someone from playing the game, it is still possible to have a great time. So, at least give it another try and see how it goes!
