Even I personally tested the guild storage system on sakray too.

 

Wonder if when you introduce the Wedding System Update, will it comes with all the sakray testing updates?

As someone who explored many of the features in the server to find the ones locked behind a paywall, I found that marriage is one that we should do away with (I know this belongs on a suggestion or FAQ BUT!) simply because having an marriage system update and keeping it behind a paywall and not some sort of cute quest will only make the update seem uninteresting to people. I sure don’t think I’d pay 1000 Kp for 2 marriage covenants. Making them accesible through a “couples quest” would make this update so much better.

Being VIP makes it free, jsut the 1m fee i think? even, being VIP stills need to pay for it.

Right. Ideally paying the 1.2m/1.3m zeny is good enough for marriage, the OCP and other stuff I can see remaining part of the cash shop. That’s fine, but at least the ingame features such as marriage would be nicer if we had an alternate quest but still have the option to pay (for those who rather rush through and get married without doing that alternate quest)

Suggestion: Wait for the next free vip event, and marry the hell out of all your characters

Same idea as creating characters in vip only slots of an account during those events.

I did that for my first character on here to gain access to jawaii to get ice creams and rock siroma clips, but the thing I learned from playing iRO is that we can’t expect everyone to know everything and come in and say “I’ll wait for the next free VIP weekend” when they probably are not aware of: marriage requiring the marriage covenants, what VIP actually includes, and the fact they can’t marry without either VIP/cash shop marriage covenants.

I am perfectly fine with the exp and drop boost and the additional stuff that comes in with VIP, that’s fine. I’m just hoping to redirect our attention to the idea that maybe marriage can become accessible for most and not a turn off once they find out you need 1,000 KP for 2 covenants and you can’t do anything else to get married.

And once again, we know about the free VIP weekend but not everyone else knows all that it offers, just suggesting an alternative to covenants by creating content that can be enjoyed and produce a reward for everyone who wants to. And if they don’t want to they can get marriage covenants from someone selling KP or the covenants themselves or wait for free VIP. I am merely suggesting this as it might be more attractive to offer alternate content that rewards you with that very same marriage covenants should anyone want to do that.

free vip weekend its like wait something wich may comes once a year lol, like waits for the Santa's gift every year. a good idea, but waits for it its more rare than enriched hammer or refine events.

 

Agree with the iRO customization with a quest or something to be able to marry every char we want.

I have a rough idea about this concept for a long time now. Maybe if more people could agree or share their thoughts (I know the thread is about adoption but this is very relevant) perhaps we can ask Campitor if this is possible. That’s all I have to say. Thanks for reading

Well, for content purposes I recorded both the soul linker and sorcerer marrying each other and I had to change the camera to the other character.

I got the Marriage Covenants from someone vending them and someone sold me one. I am certain I used two. Maybe that could be good enough?

So JaguarBlood thoughts on the suggestion I proposed? The cash shop option would still be available for those who want it but I mean, hearing feedback would be nice and maybe Campitor Can see that too. (And determine whether it is possible since we have been doing a lot QoL stuff apparently)

i don't get the 2 linkers thing to be honest, although i do not necessarily need to know. again, this is why context is a thing

you are free to use ka- spells on anybody when linked with a soul linker spirit.
Aka 2 linkers will serve that purpose for a lifetime and for unlimited characters, unlike a single married one.

ah ka-spells, yes i also don't think it's ideal to have only one linker married to one of your characters (maybe if you just want the benefit of dragging one every time in woe). with that in mind i currently have 4 linkers myself and do suggest the same

cant be overpriced more than 1k WPE worth lol. even I dont know if the "mini vip" applies to marriage. i think it doesnt. but if thats the case, that will be the "free option" to activate, ppl can affort the mini vip and one of the benefits might be the marriage system available.
