That new OCP system, wot...ewww...

From steps 1 to 9 you can get any item from the OCP archive, will well, is anything they decide to put in there from the past like 30 OCP iterations. It's not even specified if you can or not pull newly added items in these steps, just on the last one. And even then, it's random over what they determine to put in there.

So instead of 300kp at a small chance of getting what you desire, it's now a 3000kp for like what, a 20% shot at it? Depends on how many items in there that month. Also keeping in mind 2700kp of these probably resulted in things from 2+ years ago that you don't even remember exist.

Yeah I didn't realize the "archive" part meant past stuff, I edited my post in light of that since this is pretty... meh. 

For some reason I thought the steps were for the current box only and were just a reward for purchasing multiple boxes at once. Call it "naive optimism" I guess. Lel. 

It's a good idea to be able to get something guaranteed when you spend enough, but lol do you look at how many items you have total in OCP now? We are at box 28, box 29 is next. 

There are around 11-12 items per box, not to mention box 1-3 has like 20 and half of them are farmable gears in game. You are telling us to gamble completely random from around 400 items.

wich is why for me it's a much better system if you just keep the boxes the way they have been for the past months, and slap this guaranteed pull on top of it. That at least encourages ppl spending the 3000kp for one of the big items of the month.( And put's a ceiling on it's market price for a while)

If that is so...well, guess I can finally save up for that RTX 2080 I wanted.

IMO a 3000KP crate with 9 of current OCP and 1 ticket might be more favorable, that way atleast the 9 random things they get are from current OCP, then the ticket being the "10th" one works like it was proposed for a semi-rare or rare item(of current OCP).

Even 4500 KP for a guaranteed item is okay. It would give you 15 chances at it, and if all fails you can choose what you want. OCP items boost builds up and make them quite fun for the average player. Player retention drops when those average plays spend hundreds of $$$ and get nothing.

You could argue that items to perform functions of MVP cards would merit more spent, but let's be honest, those are a dime a dozen and we are far too down the rabbit hole to give a -_- about that.

So let me make sure I understand this correctly. Step 10 is 1 OCP gear from this month's featured list.

By this month's featured list do you mean a list you guys will come up with randomly? Or do you mean basically things from this month's box i.e. this is March and I can pick something from OCP28 (March OCP box)

I don't know how to feel about this. Yeah it's nice being able to pick something rare right away from buying 10 tickets. But what if what you want isn't a rare or semi-rare but just a normal item?

Essentially the prices of OCP went up by 1 dollar and the range of things you get is even more RNG than before.

You let us pick an item from buying 10 boxes to eliminate the RNG but then add more RNG by increasing the pool of items to 500.

Now the 1month VIP + 1500kp package doesnt get you a round 5 boxes per month anymore, it gets you only 3, with stuff that you don't want from it.


Keep the box price the same, just adjust the number of steps for the guaranteed reward.



I was almost thinking of playing more seriously again, even buying/replacing gears and stuff, but man this is such a huge boner killer :U

What's the problem with keeping boxes the way they have been in the past few months but just slap this "crate deal" on top of it, without having to scout through ALLLL of the random hundreds of items in every single box opening.

You will still get literally the same amount of money, or more, and the box just feels way more rewarding.
