If anything, magic classes need a MDEF rework :U

I rather kRO take out the extra magic damage luk brings in certain amounts and put in magic crit chances just makes much more sense. As for procing hp and sp recovery it's easy to put on an equipment and auto attack as a melee or ranged character lets try and not bring certain class skills into play here because they are called skills for a reason. I can easily say swordsman classes have high HP regain skills but my attention is more procing potential FOR ALL!  :gg: :gawi:

 

P.S. Self heal 10-30k I know you're talking about Archbishops...Right?

The point I'm trying to say is that magic classes already have their own ways to recover hp/sp and that's part of the mechanics in why they are "magic" classes. Making magic classes work just like physical classes would just make these mechanics pointless and lackluster

Adding Crit chance to magic spells would make it unfair towards physical classes. Yes, MDef is a bigger problem for magic classes than Def is to physical classes, but atleast magic skills don't need to worry about Hit or monster size(not sure about this).

And yes it's worth mentioning these Skills because physical classes don't have them. Yeah, you can slap 4x hunterfly cards on your physical weapon but that still means you still need to be actively doing damage. And if you are up against a strong single-target, the chances for the leech effect working is still risky enough to get you killed. Meanwhile these magic classes just cast a skill once and they are immediately at full hp/sp.

P.S. Nope, 10k self-heal already accessible by Shadowchaser and Royal Guard if you get the right equipment/stats, which are largely considered to be Physical classes. Even Geneticist can give out really high hp AND sp heals.

Soul Reaper (3rd Taekwon Class; Soul Linker Advancement kRO) :

 - Reaps Soul Energies from monsters with every magic/physical attack (35%)

 - Kaute (Recover SP up to 20% to caster/partymate; Spend 5 soul energies)

 - Soul Unity (Recover HP 150 to 1050 per 3 seconds to caster and partymates in a 9x9 area; Spends 10 soul energies)

I wanna says that current Gravity dev team don't like leech mechanism.

Hunter Fly and Dracula card effect in Zero have been changed.

Hunter Fly : Has a chance to recover 100 HP per second for 5 seconds when dealing physical damage.

Dracula : Has a chance to recover 20 SP per second for 7 seconds when dealing physical or magical damage.

 

And in normal game. In case of magic attack there are some enchant from future patch work similar to those things from Zero.

- Has a 2% chance to recover 400 HP per 0.5 second for 10 seconds when dealing magical damage.

- Has a 1% chance to recover 80 SP per 0.5 second for 10 seconds when dealing magical damage.

MDEF scaling has been flawed since the very beginning of Renewal and Gravity’s solution is to offer mdef bypass gears in cashshop, instead of fixing the broken system.

It's not that difficult, change monster MDEF values to be as high as 120 MDEF or fix the formula itself.

I think you're missing my point here with general skills out of the way because self healing and other types of sp and hp regain "skills" Isn't giving me a chance to sap hp and sp from monsters I'm talking about actual procing potential which is only given with equipment and cards (excluding soul reaper class which isn't even out here yet).

 

As for Crit magic spells I'm going to need a little bit more than it's just "unfair" for physical classes as everyone would be experiencing the change. You're right we don't need to worry about monster sizes and hit ratio but it'll be cool if we did though just saying. We do however have to worry about which specific types of elements to use and see IF we even have that elemental skill. :wah:.

Aren't these already what you were looking for? You wanted to try absorbing hp or sp while dealing magic damage right?

Still not good enough? You prefer something from gears and cards right?

Soul Drain is still not giving me a chance to proc sp and hp with each magic attack you know after the monster is dead you'll receive a fixed amount of maxed SP. Nulled.

 

Drain life. Viable.

 

Weapons. Viable.
