Sura Skill progression~

So I started a fresh acolyte and about to hit sura soon and was wondering whats a good skill progression to follow with the gears I have:

+10 Devil Hand
Tengu set (planning to get a Sera if I find a cheap one (3B-im buying btw)
+10 EDA
+12 Spartacus (i know it was nerf, but is it really useless now?)
no idea what shield to get?Excellion for general use?
+7 DR warkwak manteau
+9 Temp Str BP/FS
Temporal Ring [1]

high + excellion. +12 if you can afford it.

elemental shields as well (fotia, anemos, etc.)

 

after running a simulation for the devil hand I found out that i need atleast 39job levels to get:

 

max:

lion howl

lightning ride

earthshaker

rising dragon

 

to maximize devil hand's effect isnt that too hard to get if I stay @ lvl 99?

it's more about patience than difficulty.


Now the main question is, do you need all that for your build to be at least functional?

mind sharing what's your idea of "functional" for a devil's hand build?i mean what skill to get first and how to compromise?
