Old ragnarok stuff ^^

I wish I had my old screenshots dated from 2008-2009, back when I played Ragnarok for the first time. I used to screenshot everything "cool" that happened with my character. The first picture I can recall is when I captured my first pet, a lunatic. Many old good memories. ♥

Remember when blacksmiths actually forged things? Do you remember the pattern they use to call for buffs?  3 Blessings and a Gloria

Remember when people would sell leeches at Al De Baran Clock Tower? Remember how people use to sit at the Deviruchi Boxes and Collect Evil Wings?

Highest end content was places like High Orcs in Clock Tower.  Magma Dungeon with the release of Juno.  Thousands of players were waiting to make 2-2 Classes.

Priests would sell themselves as heal slaves for money.  Crafting classes would buy leeches.  Blacksmiths competed for business.

GMs use to do interviews with players who reach level 99 and upgrade one headgear item to +10 for them.  First ever +10 Spiky Band was made this way.  Now it's probably in the mimic eater somewhere.

Oh. and probably the most obvious of the fact.  God items meant a whole lot if you came across someone with one.  Having them was a clear indicator of power difference.

these are the 2 oldest screenshots i have, from 2007.

first is dated 2/16/2007. this was definitely my first character (think i started late january?) and Ishira was the first person in game that i chilled with because my irl friend who got me into the game wound up meeting her and introducing me, and then quit himself shortly after.


This one is dated 6/29/2007. Here we have Ryochan falling asleep during his healslave session. He just straight up stopped moving and never woke up for several hours lol.


Catarax was my second main after Ichi, and you can tell the difference in levels compared to how many months have gone by. for all of those who started playing post renewal, that should give you an idea of how tough leveling was compared to now.
