Hello everyone,

I am returning to this new ragnarok, I used to play ragnarok in 2006 ~ 2007... So a lot has changed  :heh:

I have been playing for 5 months with my RC GX and i read a lot about this MA GX build and i decided to try it out...

But I'm a bit confused about some recommended equips for MA build and stats.

Can you guys help me? Im looking for suggestions.

Some questions:

1) I see a lot of builds with Evil Dragon Armor + RidewordHat/VanargandHelm... But the HP/SP leech works? It says in the description "Disables the following effect of Vanargand Helm [1],

Restoring damage as HP/SP when performing a physical attack". I don't know if I get it right or it is just my bad english  :heh:

2) Do I need more dex? Is it good or should I invest more points in it?

3) I have around 1b to spend... What should I get next?

Well... Thanks for your attention! :thx:

My english is a bit rusty but i think it is understandable  :hmm:

Here are my char stats and equips (LvL 129/32):

+9 Rideword Hat

Dark Blinder

Well-Chewed Pencil

Nab's Cloth FS 4/atk+2%/FS 3

+9 Malicious Thanatos katar

+9 HPB with wakwak card
+7 enforcer shoes

Under a cast clip

Keraunos of mad berserker

And shadow equips from bugs + costume goggles

str 90+12

agi 90+8

vit 90+14

int 1 +14

dex 70+9

luk 35 + -2

Honestly your stats/gears for ma. Those gears are fine to get to 175. Just make sure you have the right skills to maximize MA damage & enforcer shoes. I usually get about 90 Dex. But with the gears now you would probably be fine with 70. Im sure others can give better advice. Duel weapons will get you higher damage but if you'd rather save money for things like mob scarf or whatever I'd do that.

I agree with what hammie said, you're pretty well set for stats/gear just make sure you have the skills that unlock damage bonuses from Enforcer shoes.

As to question #1 the change to Evil Dragon Armor was made just a few months ago since the dev team felt having that much HP leech easily accessible from a upper headgear and armor at the same time would be too strong. So older guides from before this change would recommend EDA and Vanargand but today it doesn't work after the 'Set Malus' change.

In addition, try to acquire a better alternative of your phen accessory. I would suggest imperial gloves(300m+/-) then save up zeny for PDM.

Another set that would also help you leech hp better would be the "malicious shadow set"(armor, shield & shoes). try to acquire the +4 only just to keep minimal cost. The +4 set would probably cost around 300m+/-.

Spell set is also nice for phen replacement. I'm pretty sure there's quite a few options nowadays. I just don't know them all.

Hmmmmmm... Spellflow set for phen replacement or malicious set for + HP leech? What do you guys think?

How about tengu set? Worth it ?

You can do either way you prefer. Personally, I'd go imperial gloves+malicious just to further increase hp leech and save up pots.

However, it still depends on the price whichever is more economical for you (malicious shadow set+imperial glove or spellflow set or love piece) or your direct preference.

Tengu set would be worth it only if you plan to go 120 str build. Otherwise, there are other viable OP(and very expensive, high end gaming use) mid/low combo HG e.g. Mob scarf/SG[1], RG Necklace/Imperial feather(for 120 agi build) & Heart Card in Mouth/Gambler's Seal(for 120 luk build).

My take on tengu, you can at least take the tengu mask(and get at least 108 str) as it is kinda much cheaper right now(200~300m maybe) then couple it with either toy syringe(for power potting slims) or the much personally preferred Happy Balloon.

I looked over your original post and didn't see your level?
I guess what do you want to do for your end game build? RC/CRS. Critical? Other? Hybrid?
This might be helpful. I didn't say this Ashuckel did in another thread. I thought it might be helpful.

i mean more specifically the playstyle itself.

but as a general assessment:
Sera C. gives the most atk, but compromises your stat points into an otherwise useless stat for gx. you will then have to make up aspd, hit, hp, etc with other gears, wich may or may not be an issue, It's decent enough for pure Cross Impact since aspd is less important at that.

Enforcer is used when you don't use PDM pretty much. And you use PDM if you dabble in Crit as well. (or you know, a thanatos card can replace both)

temp ring is only really a noticeable increment with LD and SoL(for the delay).
Imperial Set is an option for atk like Seraph that doesn't screw up most of your stats, Agi is still usefull for the class and it will give almos tthe same level of atk, with some other little perks and free aspd.

Tengu is alright for CRS shenanigans, but at that point you could probably use a mob scarf set and reap similar benefits (obvious less ranged%, but option for card, aspd, crit, etc)

Oh, i forgot! Lvl 129/32!  About my end game build... I really don't know! Whatever the best for pve/mvp and to take maximum advantage of my actual build/equips. Too late for critical build? Double atk works now with crit katar build? Worth it?

You are always able to change your stats once you reach 175. The mesmerist in Eden gives you one free reset I believe. Stat reset is also coming this week. RC/CRS is good for instances as is crit.i think cross impact would require some major funds but I could be wrong. I guess it just depends on your play style.

My gx has 120 str, 90dex90luk, 101 ago. I usually rc/CRS and occasionally cross impact if I'm bored and want to switch it up. I can also crit with this build.
