Patch server issues (related to brazilian ISPs)

I recently had this error making the launcher unable to patch. It gives the message "Failed to connect to patch server". But I also can't connect to this forum, to the iro website or any of the related without using a VPN (yes, using a VPN is the solution to the patch issue). I live in Brazil, and my region is not ip-blocked.

I submitted a ticket to the support, and after having tried almost all of the possible fixes, they replied "After looking into it, I have heard that there might be a problem with some local Brazilian internet service providers after the most recent update. Be advised that other players trying to access from your area may also be having this problem." Is anyone else having this problem?

Esses dias os launcher parou de atualizar e começou a retornar a mensagem "Falha ao conectar ao server de Patch". Outro problema é que os sites do iRO, incluindo esse próprio fórum, são impossíveis de acessar sem um VPN.

Eu mandei um ticket para o suporte, explicando a situação, e já que eu já tinha feito quase todas as soluções possíveis, disseram que pode ter um problema entre alguns provedores brasileiros e o servidor deles, depois do update mais recente. Alguém mais está tendo esse problema?

Could be a problem with the ISP's DNS server.

A quick test is switching to Google DNS, see if that resolves the issue.

I finally copy all files from the client, but the game dont open!? check dns ok check internet ok check files from clients the past ok, open not okay...

You may be experiencing an issue unrelated to the OP.

Where did you download the files from? If playing on Renewal servers then I'd suggest using the official release found at Playragnarok website:

If you are still having an issue launching or patching the client then please create a fresh topic here with the error messages properly described.
