When I started playing RO in 2004 you had to pay monthly fees and it went along with the VIP because you could only access the ''Full Game'' as a VIP or by buying Reset Stones from the Kafra Shop which is an alternate solution, but either ways you had to spend money.

A lot of negative nancies here, I notice some of you already digging a grave for a server that's not even 100% ready for consumer use. That to me is incredible.

I've known people that literally paid $0

Noone posting on these forums is stopping people from playing   ROT population is higher than chaos now

Well, even before closed beta arrived, people were already hating on RT

Considering the reputations that official iro servers have (rightfully) gotten since the game moved to the free to play model... over a decade ago? I really can't blame them.

why we can't complain? Its not beta anymore 

we are not one who just bear about "early access" things.

if game isn't ready, then don't open it.

What are you still doing here? Haven't you quit already or the whole point of this thread was to give you the attention you needed?

How could you ever even know since chaos population right now is 0. Just wait till the real servers reopen then we can start comparing population. My guess is that is this is one of the main reason they put the main servers on "Hiatus" is to make people believe that ROT has a healthy population. Most people are just waiting for the return of the main server and once that is back ROT will be a ghost town just like the restart server.

As far as complaining goes i see it as fine considering that we were given no choice on whether or not we wanted to play on this server, since the server we really want to play on was closed for some "Odd" reason just as ROT opened.

Chaos server was last at 1500~2000 before it went off ROT is 2000~3000+    and no alot of these people are here for "ragnarok zero" like experience not to play a renewal server with 3rd jobs

Just being generous for my main server ROT is still double+ either way  . If they dont stall updates like chaos and roll in ragnarok zero updates like every month or something reasonable people will stay since it will be the only other server they can play ragnarok zero.

Not that they want to stall updates. They probably dont have money to buy big updates. Otherwise I dont know why they dont bring new big demanding updates to iRO.

The Ragnarok Zero "Zero" experience. Meaning its got zero of zero. Its just a gutted renewal with new UI. Meaning they can re-implement the content they do own until its caught back up with the main servers. If it was intended to get the zero updates it would of been called zero they would not of given it another name.

Last time I logged on Chaos there was like 300 (real person) online, the rest being shared between AFK Venders and Bots so they don't count as being ''active''.

I still Chaos player    but not RT player, so i want to complain because they going to put all buggy to Chaos server too (It obvious)
and 2 months for Offline server isn't good too. People hope to see "Mega Update".

and why you here? this isn't place to talking about p2w. Support server is depend on yours not other.

PS:  you see offline vending also count as player in roT (can saw player when server down why it still 1k+), maybe that 1.5-2k player isn't real?

so a recent open RT is your main server so fast? well thats nice, people with hope its always welcome, I remember many friends told me "come to Restart, it will be a new beggining". Two years later, they are into iRO coz re:start closed so fast.

However, I think we need to be optimist, I, as an old iRO Chaos player, wont move for many reasons, friends in that server, other reasons already mentioned, like the time invest and the gears I posses, all the classes in my multiple accounts, its too much to leave just like that. But thats an old iRO Chaos Player vision, we need to try to figure out other's vision, like a new player, If you offer a new comer to choose between a fresh new server, no matter if its based on RO:Zero or renewal, just by the fact (and this is I've heard a lot) the economy starts from 0's its more attractive than an old server with broken gears, zeny, etc. Very Often I've heard "we cant compete against players with lots of gears/MVPs/Zeny/etc" and thats part false, but they dont know coz they dont even bother to play.

There are players who dont like 3rd classes, coz they think its too broken, well, classic server closed too, and this is a fresh start to them with new mechanics and fresh environment.

Also, the business view from staff, a new service means new players, trying to drag the players who emphatize with ro:zero project and the players above described, Im happy they try to attract new players to Ragnarok environment, its a 2002 game, its hard to get new players, so its a business and this may be a nice invest for it. Wish you luck to all the staff members.

had to be honest, by the re:start era, they pay less care to chaos server, focus on a server with huge bots and didnt do something till was too late.

Hope this wont means you will pay less attention to Chaos server, coz, lets talk with the true, if this new project is not profitable, where do you think they gonna move the player's data? a hint: its a chaotic server.

I still believe restart was a good idea, but when there's literally five thousand bots to one thousand players weeeeell you don't need to be a fortune teller to see how that's going to end up.

I really like the zero class changes... which is precisely why I'm not interested in starting on the new server until they're in.
