[CHAOS] Giving away EQs for new starters

(Due to the influx of new players and requests, I've decided to rework this main post.)


Hello new players!

Just realized I have a bunch leftover gear in my storage and cart and I would like to donate these to new players/veterans returning to iRO again after a long time.

Most of these are "jank" (but very useful) items like Ph.D hat, Crown, random level 3 weapons, etc etc that I got mainly from Endless Tower and Instances. Nothing too special, but can be used till players get better gears in the future. There are some Crimson weapons as well for free, and Vicious Mind ones!
I know there's Eden Gear and everything, and of course they'll be strictly better in some aspects, but I'm hoping to be able to help out.

This is for Chaos server only.


How to get free gear??

• Reply to this thread - I check this regularly - with your in-game name and class! I will send you the items via the mail system.
• PM me directly here in the forums with your in-game name and class! I will send you the items via the mail system as well.
• PM me in-game (IGN: Alexandrine. He's a Geneticist). And I will direct reply.

OR

• Meet me in front of Izlude academy if you see me! I will be opening a chat window with the title "Free EQ for newbies - ding me!". I will be on my Geneticist with a dragon helm and my pet Choco, IGN Alexandrine. I'm usually there once every couple days or so, around night time in Australian time. If I'm back from an instance and have lots of things to give away, then I'll be there for a bit longer.

Please note:

• Be respectful. Choosing beggars will be ignored ("why don't u give me money?!?!?!?", "F* u, why did u give me only 100 ATK items" and the likes)
• I'm giving out EQUIPMENTS ONLY. I will NOT be giving away zeny. You can sell the equipments I give you for zeny though, not gonna stop you there. Be mindful that high-tier items dropped from MVP usually only nets around 10 zeny if sold to shops. KEEP THESE ITEMS. Not worth selling it!
• I'm not giving out any KP items, or OCP items. (Except for truly wack/common things eg leek in mouth, evil marching hat..)
• I work full-time, and doing this because I love the community. There may be some delays in me responding to your messages but overall I'm pretty good!

No catch whatsoever!!
Those making bards/dancers will get extra items cause I love those classes and they're underrated af..

Hullo! Items have been sent! Unfirtunately I have no low level items, so you'd have to wait till you're at least lv 24+ >,> hope you still find it useful!

I like your idea of helping them, but there's actually quests that give free items up to 99.

You might want them to figure out:

Criatura Academy Quest

Board Quests

Eden Group Quests

I'd offer party help to promote party training. Equipment are basically free. All they need to understand is how to work together since this is a SOLO type kind of game in the end.

i just got back after 8+ years too. trying to make a hunter. currently i'm still a novice that can't even afford arrows lol. any help you can give would be greatly appreicated. ign TruSh0t with a zero. thanks

I started playing RO back in 2004 I believe when I still in the Philippines. 16 years ago and I started playing again two days ago and it's a little difficult to get used to the game again but i'm having fun. I'm an acolyte right now just like what SilvEnx said, any help would be greatly appreciated!  Still using a novice mace
